Hello, my name is Rosalmys Velasquez. It's my first time posting in this community 💎 and I wanted to do it by participating in this initiative that I loved because I love gemstones. Whether they are real or fake, they add a touch of light to our outfits. The accessories that contain precious stones are everything for me. I really like to use them because they elevate the outfit you wear, they are the icing on the cake and even if someone else has the same piece of clothing, each individual gives their personal touch with accessories.

The questions of this initiative are as follows:

1.- Cual es tu piedra favorita y por qué?

What is your favorite stone and why?

I think that in my other life I was an Arab, that's why they say that Arab women like everything that shines and I love to dress up and wear with my outfit some accessory that shines. I particularly like diamonds and pink stones like rose quartz.

2.- ¿Qué piedra preciosa o semipreciosa tienes, muestrala y dinos su historia desde cuando la tienes y dinos porqué es especial?

What precious or semi-precious stone do you have, show it and tell us its history since when you have it and tell us why it is special?

When I graduated as an engineer, I didn't have the means to afford a graduation ring. There were other priorities living in Venezuela. My mom gave me a steel ring with a fake diamond but it had more sentimental value because my mom gave it to me. When I worked in Anaco, I lived in a hotel. We had our room cleaned every day. One day I got careless and left it on my nightstand, as well as a nice fancy ring from the cyzone catalog that changed color supposedly with mood and when I came home from work I couldn't find it. I put in a complaint but the ring never showed up. And well, for the sentimental value it had I mourned it too much.

3.- Tienes alguna piedra curativa? No tiene que estar en algún accesorio.

Do you have any healing stones? It doesn't have to be in an accessory.

Not really. But when I was younger and went to the river or the beach, I liked to pick and collect pebbles that were eroded, that looked like marble or stained glass sanded by the grains of sand. I liked to think that because I collected them from the beach, the pebbles had energy from the sea and I kept them.

4.- Para ti que representan las piedras en la joyería?

For you, what do stones represent in jewelry?

Gemstones whether real, fake or natural represent the opulence of femininity. It's amazing how it can enhance a woman's vibe and self-esteem when she wears a gemstone accessory she loves. I feel like I'm worth a million dollars and I would never go out without an accessory or wear something that doesn't match my vibe or style.

5.- Cuál color en piedras te gusta más y por qué?

Which stone color do you like the most and why?

Definitely pink or white gemstones. I feel they convey purity, relaxation, feminine instinct and delicacy.

6.- Háblanos de alguna piedra que te gustaría tener.

Tell us about a stone you would like to have.

Days ago I placed an order through a platform called AliExpress where I ordered a beautiful ring made of the fire opal stone. I thought the design of the ring and the shape of the stone looked beautiful together. I couldn't help but have it in my ring collection. I am showing you the referral photo on the page as it arrives for early July.

7.- Por último, recomiendanos alguna piedra, puede ser curativa o no, que deberíamos tener.

Finally, recommend any stone, healing or not, that we should have.

I think we should all have a stone that represents our zodiac sign. Here below I leave you a little table that I downloaded some time ago with the corresponding stones for each sign. I'm an Aquarius sign ♒
