[ESP - ENG] Coffee and chocolate sponge cake for rainy afternoons 😍🌨️ // Bizcochón de Café y Chocolate para tardes lluviosas 😍🌨️
Bienvenidos a mi blog, queridos Hiver-Friends amantes del café ❤️👩🏽🍳✌️
Welcome to my blog, dear Coffee-Loving Hiver-Friends❤️👩🏽🍳✌️
Today I make an appearance in this beautiful community of #cinnamoncupcoffee ☕ to share with you my recipe for a tasty and easy coffee and chocolate sponge cake. A delight 😍out of this planet that will impregnate your home with the most succulent and pleasing aromas, tasty to the palate, from my humble opinion.
Both ingredients, coffee and chocolate, have excellent antioxidants and are responsible for increasing our energy. A cup of coffee can take away your headache and chocolate makes you release endorphins, which is a substance produced by our body with the intention of activating the areas where pleasant emotions are generated in our brain. I consider that a cup of coffee lifts your spirits, imagine accompanying it with chocolate and in a spongy and sweet sponge cake version, definitely the glory for me! I really like making desserts when it's raining and the weather is cloudy. Rain makes me happy 🌨️
The preparation of this cake is super easy and the ingredients are affordable. Here is the recipe below.
Ingredientes // Ingredients
✓ 3 cucharadas de chocolate soluble como por ejemplo: Toddy.
✓ 3 huevos.
✓ Vainilla al gusto.
✓ 1 taza de harina de trigo todo uso.
✓ 125 gramos de azúcar.
✓ 120 gramos de margarina sin sal.
✓ 1 cucharadita de bicarbonato de sodio.
✓ 1 cucharadita de vinagre.
✓ 1 Tableta de chocolate de café para decorar.
½ cup of freshly brewed pure coffee.
✓ 3 tablespoons of soluble chocolate such as: Toddy.
✓ 3 eggs.
✓ Vanilla to taste.
✓ 1 cup all-purpose wheat flour.
✓ 125 grams of sugar.
✓ 120 grams of unsalted margarine.
✓ 1 teaspoon of baking soda.
✓ 1 teaspoon vinegar.
✓ 1 Tablet of coffee chocolate for decoration.
Preparación // Preparation
With the help of a whisk, vigorously beat the margarine together with the sugar until a white paste is formed. Then add the vanilla to taste and the coffee. Stir very well. Note: do not worry about the appearance of the mixture.
Then add the eggs one by one and beat very well. Add the wheat flour little by little and mix until you obtain a uniform paste without lumps. Then add the chocolate powder and mix well. Finally, add the baking soda and vinegar together so that your mixture grows very much. Stir very well so that it integrates well with all the ingredients of this mixture.
Grease and flour a 20 cm diameter mold and pour the mixture little by little. Then cut into very small pieces a quarter of the chocolate bar to decorate the surface of the cake. Put in the oven and bake for 35 minutes at 180 degrees. Once it is ready, let it cool and serve it with a nice cup of coffee with milk or a glass of milk 😍☕✌️
Thank you for being here. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do 😍👩🏽🍳☕✌️

Hello @royvego55,
Your cake looks good, the recipe is pretty straightforward and the items seem like readily available. I am not a chocolate cake lover, but I do believe in substituting my recipes to suit me, so I guess I could follow it and probably replace the chocolate with an increased portion of coffee.
Thanks for sharing it with us:)
Hello @millycf1976 You can recreate it to your liking. I thought about making it with coffee only, but since my husband likes chocolate, I added it to this preparation and it was really delicious. Low in sugar but pleasant to the palate. Thanks for commenting 😸 Blessings 👏❤️
What an incredible straight line, and not a lot of complicated ingredients.
Not at all, my friend @fabian98 And the amount of sugar perfect, neither too sweet nor too bland. Greetings.
