MCGI MASS INDOCTRINATION, DAY TWELVE | MAY 31, 2022

Happy New Month Everyone. Glory be unto Our Lord Jesus Christ who always gives us opportunities to study and to be guided by His truth. I am eternally grateful to God forever. The Mass Indoctrination held on the 31st Day of May was a glorious one.

HERE ARE THE IMPORTANT POINTS I LEARNED.

KNOWING AND UNDERSTANDING WHO YOU ARE (DESIRE TO HEAR THE WORD OF GOD).

INTRODUCTION

• In Philippians 2:13; If a person has the desire to listen to God's word, that is the work of God in the person.
  Naturally, as human beings, doing good works doesn't start with us. But to do good was a gift to us by God. Because it is only God that is good. Man's major desire is to do earthly things. He does not have the desire to do good, they desire to do the things of this world.

• In Colossians 3:2; Just a few persons have the desire to know God and to listen to Him.

• In Acts 17:27; It is very hard to invite busy people into the things of God. Because they aim to pursue the things of this world. God made man dwell on earth so man can seek Him and serve Him. We must seek God. He is not far from us if we seek Him. He is only far from those who are far from Him.

• If at any time you feel like repenting, it is God that is working in you.

What kind of a person are you?

In Acts 18:2; some races don't want others to interact or to be associated with them. Whichever race we came from, God has a commandment for man to seek Him.

• Some people are far from God. We all should seek God and draw near to Him. For you to have such desires, is a good sign and it is God's working in you.

• What Satan does is distract you from desiring to seek God.

• Two major things exist in this world; good and evil. The devil wants everyone to desire to be like him. But God's goodness is greater than how wicked and evil the devil can be.

• If you desire to listen to God's word, the devil can use anyone to be a distraction to you.

• When you plant by the wayside, there are many distractions. The devil is always by the wayside to distract, and he can easily access you.

• The heart full of thorns can not accommodate the Word of God. Because it will be shocked by the desires of this world. Men have many ambitions and care, so the heart can not accommodate God's word.

• The church of God is not composed of only good people. God will give a new heart to those who seek Him and to anyone. He can change the hearts of the wicked men into a godly ones. Whatever kind of heart you have, it can be changed.

• When you spent quality time listening to God's word, it will give you a new ambition, and it will take care of all your cares and desires.

In Psalm 104:30 and Genesis 1:2; It is the work of the Holy Spirit to make mountains, hills e.t.c. He can change even the worst heart.

MY EXPECTATIONS THAT WERE IMPROVED BY LISTENING TO THE TEACHINGS

• God's desire is for us to seek Him and to serve Him, and He will grant us all of our heart desires accordingly to His will.
• If our hearts' desires are in sync with his word, there's nothing too good for us that He can not willingly give to those that seek Him.

HOW THE TEACHINGS HAS POSITIVELY IMPACTED ME

• All of my heart desires now is to seek God and to serve Him with my whole life, that's all that count and matters to me now.
• The Word of God has taken over every part of my being, including my heart's desires.
