MCGI MASS INDOCTRINATION, DAY FIVE | MAY 20, 2022

Thanks to God Brethren, I hope that everyone is doing well here. Happy Weekend.

Yesterday was a very wonderful night in the MCGI Mass Indoctrination Day 5 of the new phase and I was glad I attended.

THE IMPORTANT POINTS I LEARNED FROM THE TOPIC ON PRAYER ARE AS FOLLOWS;

When it comes to prayer, God wants us to submit our whole being to him; every part of our body.

• That is why In 1 Corinthians 7:4 the Bible told us that the husband should render what is due to the wife, this is God's commandment. There are things due to the husband and the wife.

• The husband has to give his body to the wife, so also the wife. Both of them do not have power over their own body.

• The Bible talks about Abstinence from the sexual relationship between husband and wife, but it is only when they want to devote themselves to prayer and fasting.

• We must understand that God is always eager to listen to our prayers but we have to have self-control. That's why God want husband and wife to practice Abstinence.

• The teachings we receive from the Word of God can transform even the worst wife that is a sinner into a righteous wife or person.

• Prayer coupled with fasting is very powerful. Even where science fails, prayer prevails.

PRAYER AND FASTING CAN BE FOR MANY REASONS

• It can be for a certain kind of sickness, sin or a habit that looks big to deal with. When we fast and pray such burdens are taken away.

• In Isaiah 58:6 prayer also helps to lose the band of wickedness.

• When we are fasting, we should show generosity. At the period of our fasting, it is an opportunity to feed those that are hungry and also take care of the needy. We should not deprive our fellow man.

• Fasting can cause the miraculous in our life.

THERE ARE CERTAIN THINGS THE HUSBAND AND WIFE NEEDS TO OBSERVE

• The husband needs to dwell in knowledge with the wife. He needs to understand the wife. He should give honour to her.

• In 1 Peter 3:7, any man who is behaving violently toward his wife, when he prays to God will not listen to him. God want the man to consider his wife.

• If you don't provide for your family, the Bible says such a person is worst than an unbeliever.

WHAT ARE THE THINGS HUSBAND AND WIFE MUST DO FOR THEIR PRAYERS TO BE ANSWERED?

• Love is very important. It is a commandment Christ gave us. The husband must love their wife.

A good wife brings favour to the husband

• The wife must be submissive and respectful to the husband. Because the husband is head over her.

MY EXPECTATIONS THAT WERE IMPROVED BY LISTENING TO THE TEACHINGS

• As a young man that I am, I have learned a lot that will guide me in my marriage life when I am ready to get married and this things I have learned will help me have a successful married life.

HOW THE TEACHINGS HAS POSITIVELY IMPACTED ME

• I have made chosen prayer as a lifestyle and something I must do so always. Because prayer is so powerful than science can ever imagine.

• My relationship with people has been improved because before I get married I need to learn how to live with those around me and to love and cherished them.
