MCGI MASS INDOCTRINATION, DAY ELEVEN | MAY 30, 2022

Thanks be to God for another wonderful opportunity He has given me to participate in the Mass Indoctrination of the 11th day. I am always grateful

HERE IS WHAT I LEARNED YESTERDAY.

The works to which God entrusted to his children who are serving Him.

  • In Isaiah 28:10-13; Everything must be done in orderliness. The Word of God should be put in its rightful place.

  • Some people are doing what is wrong repeatedly without being remorse.

  • In 1 Corinthians 10:21; The Lord Jesus has set a table and He is the one to serve. The table represents the church.

There are works in the true church which God allows us to do.

All the good things that God's children are doing, are they all commanded by God?

  • In 1 Corinthians 14:37; All Paul's writings are the commandments of God. The expectation of Paul to Philemon was to do more than he taught him.

  • Since we are guided by the Holy Spirit of God, there are things we should do voluntarily without being told to do so.

  • In Isaiah 1:19; some things are not commanded unto us, we are entitled to do them willingly.

What are we to do voluntarily without God having to command us to do?

Making of Vows

  • Numbers 30:2; In the Bible, there is what is called a vow.
A vow is something done voluntarily, it is not dictated to us.

  • Making a vow is voluntary, you only have to fulfil what came out of your mouth.

  • In Ecclesiastes 5:5; You have to be true to your vow.

  • A vow is something wonderful.
If you want a favour from God, make a vow.
You can add fast to making vows, this can speed up your request.

  • A vow is also one of the works God leaves for his children to do voluntarily.

Giving of contributions

  • 2 Corinthians 9:7
In the church of God, giving contributions is termed as sowing a seed, and it is something done voluntarily. It is not God who will decide what you are to give. When it comes to contributions or sowing of special seeds, it should be done without grudges, it should be cheerful.

  • It is a sacred thing, it is between you and God.

  • Even in the early church, there are things God did not command them to do. But they did it willingly.

  • In the church, we are to take up responsibilities in something without us being told to do so.

Thanksgiving

Jeremiah 30:19

  • This is another voluntarily act of faith we can give to God. It is like a vow.
  • It is a sacrifice we must continue to offer to God package with praise.
In 1 Thessalonians 5:18, In everything, we are to give thanks to God.

Worthy of Note

When you are fasting, you are not eating, so use that opportunity to feed those around you that are without food. This is also a volunteer thing to do.

MY EXPECTATIONS THAT WERE IMPROVED BY LISTENING TO THE TEACHINGS

  • God values vows, I have learned to always make vows to God and always redeem them. Some things will not work if we don't make vows.
  • When I am giving contributions in the church, it is a seed I am sowing. Because there will be a reward for it.

HOW THE TEACHINGS HAS POSITIVELY IMPACTED ME

  • It has helped me to understand that God loves a cheerful giver. I will always be cheerful when I am giving to God and man.
  • I have learned to always give thanks to God if I want Him to do more for me

Remain blessed In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Thanks be to God for listening on our meeting.

MCGI Cares (Hive) community's main mission is to share the words of God, not the Hive upvotes. If we get upvotes, please treat it as just a bonus. Do not focus mainly on material things as the bible is teaching us not to look at things seen but rather focus our eyes on things not seen.

II CORINTHIANS 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
