MCGI MASS INDOCTRINATION, DAY EIGHT | MAY 25, 2022

I'd like to say a very big Thank You to God for always giving me the opportunity to listen and to study the doctrines of Christ through Brother Eli

I have been so blessed by those wonderful teachings.

FROM THE PREVIOUS DAY TEACHINGS, HERE IS WHAT I LEARNED;

• The commandment of God is for us to do good to our fellowman, it covers everyone including our enemies. The church does not do any evil to anyone rather it shows love to everyone including enemies.

• If you can do good to someone who is doing evil to you, much more they who do not.

We have an obligation to God, to do good to our fellow man.

What is our Obligation?

• In Philippians 2:15, As light, we should not be shut down rather we should shine forth and give light everywhere.

• Our manner of life can speak, and our relationship with others can express
  the love of God. Our manner of life can express good things. It is our responsibility.

Why does God wants us to shine as light? 1 Peter 2:12

• By our good works and good conduct towards man they will glorify God. When he comes. Our life can speak and preach the gospel to others.

• 1 Peter 3:1 Those who do not believe in God, can be won through the behaviour of those that are righteous.

• So that men will know that there is a true God through us. They may by your good works come into the Kingdom of God.

• Matthew 5:14-15
  We have been sent forth as a light to shine into dark places of the earth so we bring and deliver men out of darkness and bring them to God.

• we have been commanded to do good continuously to our fellowmen.

• A church should be a place for perfecting people and not for perfect people.

• A man who refuses to be corrected in the church should be rejected. If they are tolerated, every other person can start acting and living like them.

• If you are in a church where the truth is not being taught, pray to God to take you away from such places.

• Evil should not be tolerated in the church of God.

What will be the result if we do good to everyone?

In Proverbs 19:30 You will be able to win souls. Good deeds are a strategy for soul-winning

• In James 5:20. You will be a saviour.
  A single soul is very important and valuable to God

• In Luke 15:7
  A sinner who returns to God is so much important. That is why we have to strive to win souls to God. If we can win just one person, heaven will rejoice over us. we can always please God if we are soul winners. He will be delighted with us.

• Proverbs 11:30 - A soul winner is a wise person.

MY EXPECTATIONS THAT WERE IMPROVED BY LISTENING TO THE TEACHINGS

• God does not want sinners to perish, He wants them to come into repentance. So I will take up God's responsibility to save the world for Him.

HOW THE TEACHINGS HAS POSITIVELY IMPACTED ME

• I will develop the habit of doing good to all men since good deeds are a strategy for soul winning.

• Everywhere I go, I will continue to preach the gospel because a soul is very important and valuable to God.

• I will always learn to accept correction for my wrong done.
