□■□ Peace be unto you all Brethren, I thank God specially for always allowing me to study the Word of God and to be properly guided on how to live as very Christian.

We had another opportunity to study the true Doctrines of Christ from Brother Eli and I was mightily blessed. It was the 9th day of the Mass Indoctrination.
I learned so much which I'd love to share with us just a few today.

GATHERING AS A DOCTRINE

In other to avoid falling into temptation, we need to be observant.
Our maintenance is our consideration of another.

• In the church, there may be those who are poor, it is our responsibility to see to them.
  We are instructed to gather together, so we can know how each of us is faring.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN WE ARE GATHERING?

On the first day of the week, we gathered with the local believers to share in the Lord’s Supper. Paul was preaching to them, and since he was leaving the next day, he kept talking until midnight.

Acts of the Apostles 20:7 NLT

Our gathering together should be a time we spend on studying the word of God.

• In the church, it is intended for the study of the Word of God.
  We should devote more time to gathering and studying the Word.

WHAT ARE THE THINGS WE SHOULD DO WHEN WE ARE GATHERING?

Well, my brothers and sisters, let’s summarize. When you meet together, one will sing, another will teach, another will tell some special revelation God has given, one will speak in tongues, and another will interpret what is said. But everything that is done must strengthen all of you.
1 Corinthians 14:26 NLT

• There is a program when we gather, there should be singing to the Lord.
• Singing brings joy to the heart.
  Singing is a good thing we render to our God.
• Those that are in heaven are always singing to God, the Angels and the twenty-four elders.
• I learnt that when the world was created, the Angels sang, when Jesus was born the Angels sang, In the coming judgment the Angels will sing.
  Singing is an important part of the gathering

TO WHO ARE WE GOING TO SING TO?

Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.
Colossians 3:16 NLT

• We will be singing to God Almighty, we are not singing to a man.
• We are to glorify God with our songs.

It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to the Highest.
Psalms 92:1 NLT

• Our songs of worship to God can cause deliverance, it can cast our demons and the sick can be healed.

• I learned also, that when evil spirits or demons perceived that you are worshipping and praising God, they will leave.

• Singing started even before the world was created.

• Whenever you attend the church gathering, learn new songs and sing to the Lord. Everyone of us has a psalm

WHAT ELSE IS EXPECTED IN A GATHERING?

• In the place of gathering, there should be an interpretation of tongues.
• It is not prohibited by God to gather on any day of the week.

All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to fellowship, to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer.
Acts of the Apostles 2:42 NLT

IN CONCLUSION

The most important thing for us to do while gathering is

Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14 NLT

In the place of gathering, God forgives sins and heals our land and our health.
