Thanks be to God for another wonderful opportunity given to us to learn about issues relating to life and how to be good to our fellow man. May His Name be praised forever more. Amen.

HERE ARE THE IMPORTANT POINTS I LEARNED FROM TODAY'S MCGI CARES LIVE EVENT.

• Intoxicating drinks such as Alcoholics have a very bad effect on the body, and the consumption of it can affect the liver.
• Just as excessive consumption of salt affects the kidney, so also the consumption of cigarettes.
• These Intoxicating drinks are prohibited in the Bible. And one can only come out of it through the help or intervention of God.
• In Ephesians 5:8; I was made to understand that if you don't want to be a drunkard, then do not taste it.

HOW CAN ONE STOP SMOKING OR DRINKING ALCOHOLIC DRINKS

• It may be challenging to just give up on it at once, but one can consciously practice putting a stop to it.
• It is a personal decision one have to make. And once you have made up your mind, you can stop it. It all depends on oneself.
• Love: One can stop smoking or drinking for the sake of a Loved one.
• The Word of God can help a person stop it.
• In Jeremiah 10:23; A man has no power to change himself or another. It is God that can change a man.
• If we can be changed, it is the power of God working in us.

WHAT TO DO IF SOMEONE ASK US FOR HELP.

• If there is something we can do for one another, we should help, especially those who are sick and in need. Probably we will also receive help from others.
• We should help even though it is little, it will come back to us. Life here on earth is all about helping one another. That is the priority, God. If we can help others, God will bless us and also send help whenever we are in need.
• If we have excess, and someone is asking for help, we should not hesitate to help.
• If you meet an opportunity to do good, it means God is talking to you. Cease that time and opportunity to do the good deed.
• In Proverbs 3:27 and Galatians 6:10; It is a commandment of God to do good.
• Just as Satan is seeking an occasion to carry out his evil agenda through you, God is also setting an occasion for us to do good.
• If someone asks to borrow or lend from us, we should not hesitate to give to that fellow.
• Let us always remember to show mercy to our fellow man, because God wants us to show mercy to them.
• Doing good is not an option for us, it is an obligation.

MY EXPECTATIONS THAT WERE IMPROVED BY LISTENING TO THE TEACHINGS

• When I see a drunkard or a smoker, all I will do is keep praying for that fellow to stop. Because I may not be able to stop him or her. But my prayers to God can do so.
• I should always and to keep on helping those in need in the best way I can.

HOW THE TEACHINGS HAS POSITIVELY IMPACTED ME

• There is no hatred nor bitterness against anyone that does evil. But to remember them always in prayer.
• If someone asks me for me, I will seize that opportunity to help, because it is God talking to me.
