MCGI CARES LIVE EVENT VIA ZOOM| MAY 6, 2022

Today is a lovely day, and I want to thank God in particular for providing us with another opportunity to learn from and be directed by his Word.

I had the privilege to witness how the Love of God is being demonstrated by the MCGI CARES and I learned a lot from it.

WHAT I LEARNED FROM THE MCGI CARES LIVE EVENT

Why are there laws?

The Law was given by God to disclose His absolute standard of righteousness, to convince us all of our true sins before Him, and to show us our need for the gospel.

except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit, you are sure to die.”
Genesis 2:17 NLT

• The law came because Man started to transgress.

• The greatest of all the law of God is love. Because if we love one another, we will not have hatred, we will not think of killing, we will not commit adultery with our fellow man.

Owe nothing to anyone—except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God’s law.
Romans 13:8 NLT

(What exactly does that mean?) Love is the fulfilment of the law.

Love, then, is about acting in a certain way toward others, following the Law's command.

• Love is so important. If we say we love God, we will do everything that He asks us to do.

And the second is like it in importance: ‘You must love your friend in the same way you love yourself.’ Contained within these commandments to love you will find all the meaning of the Law and the Prophets.”
Matthew 22:39‭-‬40 TPT

• Our love should be extended to others. If we see anyone hungry, we should feed them.

God wants us to feed those that are hungry, he wants us to shelter those that are homeless and to clothes those that are without clothes and many more goods things so that we will be safe.

• When doing good we should not choose Nationality or relations. Let us keep on doing good as long as we have the opportunity.
