MCGI BIBLE STUDY HELD ON THE 9TH OF APRIL 2022

A wonderful greeting to all the beloved Brethren in and out of the MCGI community reading this. I pray that as we go out today we will be lead forth with peace and joy, we will be graced and highly favoured by men and God in Jesus Name.
It is always a beautiful thing to be in the place of your inspiration, which for me I believe is the place where the Word of God is been taught and shared. So that we will be guided right on how to live and serve God.

Yesterday's Bible Study was a gift from God to me specially, because more revelation of the person Jesus Christ was revealed to me.
And I am eternally grateful to Brother Eli, for always sharing God's Word with such boldness and audacity. I always pray for more increase grace and wisdom on you Sir.

HERE IS WHAT I LEARNT FROM THE BIBLE STUDY

• I was made to understand that some Pastors today have decided to use the Bible their own way and not the way God want. This is either for their own selfish purpose or a lack of understanding of the Word of God.

We know that the law is good if one uses it properly.
1 Timothy 1:8 NIV

God is not pleased with such persons. There is a danger in paraphrasing the Bible. Even in the days of Christ, they were having different views of Who Jesus is. See Matthews 16:13-20

• I also learnt, No one know Jesus more than God The Father, because what was revealed to Peter in Matthew 16:16 has long time been revealed to Christ.

I will proclaim the Lord’s decree: He said to me, “You are my son; today I have become your father.
Psalms 2:7 NIV
Christ had the revelation of himself before the world was created.

• Moreover, the Christians were chosen by God ever before the world was created.
  Ephesians 1:4 NIV. As Christians, we are special to God.

• And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
  Genesis 1:26 KJV

Here I was made to understand that the word "God" used in the scripture above is in plural form, not to mean that there are other gods beside God, but this is referring to The Blessed Trinity, which is the Godhead. So God was talking to himself, which is the Co-creator. Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are the Co-Creator of everything.

• Furthermore, I learnt that Christ is not a man, He is God, because He said He came down from Heaven and no Man came down from heaven.

Finally, we have to keep on studying the Bible for ourselves, because there in is the truth revealed.
