LOVING MY CAREER (ENG-ESP)
Friends of this beautiful community I hope you are all well and have a beautiful day, today I want to share a little with you about my love for Architecture, for no one is a secret that who knows me I am more in the inspection part of work than in an office sitting at the computer making designs or modifying, since I graduated and long before I like to be in the field, see how the work is executed from start to finish, if it is something crazy because normally when you say I want to be an architect everyone imagine themselves in a beautiful office dressed and made up very well and smelling good, ha, ha, ha, ha .... But it is not my case, when I started to love this career specifically in construction inspection was when I did my internship in a large company on the island which opened the doors without refusing anything.
VERSIÓN EN ESPAÑOLAmigos de esta hermosa comunidad espero que todos se encuentren bien y tengan un hermoso día, hoy quiero compartir un poco con ustedes sobre mi amor por la Arquitectura, para nadie es un secreto que quien me conoce estoy más en la parte de inspección de obra que en una oficina sentada en la computadora realizando diseños o modificando, desde que me gradué y mucho antes me gusta estar en campo, ver como se ejecuta el trabajo desde el principio a fin, si es algo loco porque normalmente cuando dice quiero ser arquitecto todos se imaginan en una hermosa oficina vestida y maquillada muy bien y oliendo rico, ja, ja, ja… pero no es mi caso, cuando comencé a tomarle amor a esta carrera específicamente en inspección de obra fue cuando realice mis pasantes en una gran empresa de la isla la cual me abrió las puertas sin negarse a nada.

With her I learned something very important that sometimes I forget to apply “he can not trust the word of a worker”, also that “he can not exist” and like those words many others, which every day make me a better person both professionally and personally, For a woman it is not easy to be surrounded by macho men who say that a woman can not command them, I have had more than one like that, but thank God I have learned to handle them, I have learned that the best clothes and come made up is not the best option to a work at the time of being all day in it, I sweat too much and I am washing my face all the time, I lose my clothes when I get full of concrete, paint or I get scratched with a piece of wire and it makes holes, it is something complicated to explain, but it happens very often in a construction site, and not to mention the smell of sweat, no matter how many creams I put on, because even if I take a good bath to get ready and leave the house, being in the sun in the heat doesn't give you a good smell, but mine is more passable than that of the workers because I do change every day, they wear the same clothes for the whole week, sometimes even the whole time the work lasts, it can be months ha, ha, ha, ha...
VERSIÓN EN ESPAÑOLCon ella aprendí algo muy importante que a veces se me olvida aplicar "él no se puede confiar en la palabra de un obrero", también en que "él no puedo no existe" y así como esas palabras muchas otras, las cuales día a día me hacen mejor persona tanto profesional como personalmente, para una mujer no es fácil estar rodeada de hombres machistas qué dicen que una mujer no los puede mandar, me ha tocado más de uno así, pero gracias a Dios he aprendido a manejarlos, he aprendido que la mejor ropa y venir maquillada no es la mejor opción a una obra al momento de estar todo el día en ella, ya que se suda demasiado y a cada rato estoy lavándome la cara, la ropa la pierdo cuando me lleno de concreto, pintura o me garro con un pedazo de alambre y se le hace huecos, si es algo complicado de explicar, pero que pasa muy seguido en obra, y sin decir el olor a sudor, por más cremas que me ponga, porque así me haga un buen baño para arreglarme y salir de casa, de igual manera estar en el sol, con calor no te da un buen olor, pero el mío es más pasable que el de los trabajadores porque yo si me cambio todos los días, ellos usan la misma ropa por toda la semana a veces hasta todo el tiempo que dure el trabajo pueden pasar hasta meses ja, ja, ja...

Yes, believe it or not, but it is something that with time you have experience and it is something normal, I have more than 8 years working in construction and I have learned to always have my boots even though sometimes I use sport boots because they are heavy due to the iron tip, and I can not use my clothes to go out to work, in these pictures I took it at the beginning of one of the works, I was with a new sweater that my mom gave me, with a scarf to keep the sun off my neck and the helmet that I had to wear, but it is no secret that the helmet does not protect you from the sun and that caused me to be brown 😅 it protected me, but at the same time my face remained, something that later I learned what were the right times to wear the helmet. I always thank God for the opportunities he has given me, and because I fell in love with my career, not in the area I imagined, but in the one I like the most, and in which I learn more every day about architecture and engineering, two in one then. Ha, ha, ha, ha...
VERSIÓN EN ESPAÑOLSi aunque no se crean, pero es algo que ya con el tiempo se tiene experiencia y es algo normal tengo más de 8 años trabajando en obra y ya aprendí a tener mis botas siempre aunque a veces use deportivo porque pesan por la punta de hierro, y que no puedo usar la ropa de salir para ir a trabajar, en estas fotos me la tome a principios de una de las obras, estaba con un suéter nuevo qué me regalo mi mamá, maquillada, con una bufanda para no quedarme el cuello con el sol y el casco debidamente qué tenía que usar, pero para nadie es un secreto que el casco no te protege del sol y eso causaba que estuviera morena 😅 me protegía, pero a la vez me quedaba la cara, algo que luego aprendí cuáles eran los momentos adecuados para usar el casco. Siempre doy gracias a Dios por las oportunidades que me ha dado, y porque me enamore de mi carrera, no en el área que me imaginaba, pero sí en la que me gusta más, y en la que aprendo cada día más sobre la arquitectura y la ingeniería, dos en uno pues. Ja, ja, ja…
