Chinese Lantern ǀ Lámpara China
Greetings, DIYHub! Happy week to all of you. This time I want to share with you a very nice craft with few materials. It is a Chinese lantern with cardboard. Let's see the materials and the step by step.
¡Saludos, DIYHub! Feliz semana para todos. En esta ocasión quiero compartir con ustedes una manualidad muy bonita con pocos materiales. Se trata de una Lámpara China con cartulina. Veamos los materiales y el paso a paso.
We will need / Vamos a necesitar:
- Red and yellow cardboard / Cartulina roja y amarilla
- Recycled plastic bottle / Botella de plástico reciclada
- Scissors and liquid silicone / Tijeras y silicón líquido
- Gold thread / Hilo dorado
We start by marking a 12x8 cm oval shape on the red cardboard and cut it out. Glue the wider ends until you get the shape you see in the image.
Iniciamos marcando en la cartulina roja una forma de ovalo de 12x8 cm y recortamos. Pegamos los extremos más anchos hasta lograr la forma que vemos en la imagen.
We are going to mark and cut out some cayenne flowers from yellow cardboard and a red cardboard center. Glue the red shape on top of the yellow one and you will get some little flowers.
Vamos a marcar y recortar unas flores de cayena de cartulina amarilla y centro de cartulina roja. Pegamos la forma roja sobre la amarilla y lograremos unas florecitas.
Glue the flowers to the center of the piece we had previously made. We will need 8 of these pieces.
Procedemos a pegar las flores en el centro de la pieza que habíamos realizado previamente. Necesitaremos 8 de estas piezas.
We take a rectangular piece of red cardboard measuring 11x28 cm and glue the 8 pieces on it in a centered position.
Tomamos un trozo rectangular de cartulina roja de 11x28 cm y pegamos sobre ella las 8 piezas de forma centrada.
We are going to cut the plastic bottle to about 11 cm from the base.
Vamos a cortar la botella plástica a unos 11 cm la base.
Then we glue the previously made piece with the help of liquid or stick silicone.
Luego pasamos a pegar la pieza anteriormente realizada con la ayuda de silicón líquido o en barra.
We are going to decorate with yellow stripes on the upper and lower part of the piece.
Vamos a decorar con unas franjas amarillas tanto en la parte superior como inferior de la pieza.
In the same way, we are going to add a handle to the lantern made with strips of red and yellow cardboard.
Del mismo modo vamos a colocarle un asa a la lámpara con tiras de cartulina roja y amarilla.
Finally, we proceed to make a tassel. To do this, we will make fine cuts in a rectangular piece of cardboard as shown in the image. Then we roll it up and fasten it with golden thread. We glue it to the bottom of the lantern.
Finalmente, procedemos a realizar una borla. Para ello vamos a hacer cortes finos en un trozo de cartulina rectangular como vemos en la imagen. Luego enrollamos y sujetamos con hilo dorado. Pegamos en la parte de abajo de la lámpara.
