Seeing a tree die is like seeing a friend fall down ☘️
The noble mission
Today I write with much sadness in my heart. It is possible that it is not understood, but when you love nature, this beautiful garden that God created as a world, it is not to feel less.
We have all had to say goodbye to loved ones, some because they emigrate to other countries, and others because they die, passing to another plane, as they say, leaving this affliction in our feelings. But I do not know if many have said goodbye to the trees, to the vegetal beings that have been companions of life in some way.
Trees are indispensable for human life, we know this since we started school. Trees have invaluable functions, from purifying the air to cooling the environment, among others. I, since I am aware that the Creator made us a beautiful house to take care of, I admire, respect and take care of them.
Me encantan esos árboles.
A soil saturated with water
As I have told other times, I live on a Venezuelan island in the area where there are especially green mountain valleys that keep the region cool. There are many trees around the roads such as cedars, apamates and oaks.
In front of my parents' business, two leafy oak trees come to life and, when in bloom, paint the roads bright yellow. I love those trees. They provided shade and shelter for many years for my family. They are beautiful.
This morning I got a call that one of my beloved oaks had collapsed. I went to the site because after my father's death, I have taken over the management of the building, and I saw with sorrow that the roots of the tree had not been sufficient to support its leafy foliage because of the dampness of the soil. It has rained torrentially in the last few days and the ground is saturated with water.
Oaks are trees that require soils with relative humidity, but not too much because it represents a danger for them, since their dense foliage makes them heavy compared to their trunk and roots.
Everything seems to have an end
Thank God, there was no loss of property or human life due to the collapse of the oak tree. It fell to the ground like a soldier proud of having done his duty and his fall was very noble.
What saddens me most is that the environmental department of the municipality may recommend the felling of the other oak tree due to imminent danger. My heart weeps for this news.
Without wasting time, being there, I embraced the tree that still stands, as if I wanted to keep it forever, as if I wanted to tell it not to give up, to be strong. However, I understand that things have their end, that even nature has its cycle, but I know that I will miss its green canopy and its timely fan at the time of the sweltering heat.
To all of you, thank you for reading me.
Until another valuable opportunity.

We will just think that everything happens for a reason. A single tree can give lots of comfort by providing shades to many and gives fresh air. How old is the tree?
Hi. I wasn't very old, I think 25 to 30 or so, but it's like you say, there will be something good behind all this.
You are right.
Buenas.
Thank you for your support
Siempre bienvenidos.
I can fully understand what you felt as I would have felt the same. I love wood and love photographing the rings, but to say goodbye to an old tree and watch it in pieces on the round is hard.
Waooo, what an interesting kind of photography you do. You must understand my feeling, how nice. Thanks for coming to my blog.
Oh i felt sad about it too but you're right even trees have their own cycle but we really will miss the shade and oxygen they could offer to human beings.
We cannot live without them. I hope I can plant another tree to replace the one that fell. Thank you for coming.
don't be too sad. better plant a new tree.👌😊
Just that I told @jenthoughts, I'll plant another one instead. Thanks for the encouragement and for coming to the blog.
