Useless information #94 - Electric vehicles are taking over.
Electric vehicles (EV) are here to stay.
That's been my feeling for a while but I didn't expect the transition would happen so fast. I know it should but I didn't thought it would!
Stats show a significant increase of EV sales in many countries. In some cases the sales numbers are higher than combustion vehicles.
How many electric vehicles have been sold in the UK?
"Last year saw the biggest annual increase in number of registrations, with more than 175,000 electric vehicles registered showing a growth of 66% on 2019. Last year, despite the coronavirus impact, the chart showed that 2020 was a huge growth year for plug-in vehicles."

"For 2021, all regions and most countries witness strong increases in EV sales, with growth rates 3 to 8 times higher than for total light vehicle markets."

I've always been a fan of EV althought I don't own one yet. It's almost inevitable that my next car will be electric. People who, like me, bought a car 4 or 5 years ago probably feel the same way.
For years, I know a friend of a friend of a friend that owns an EV.
But now they are getting closer! Last year my uncle bought one.
Two months ago a friend of mine ordered one. Last month another friend of mine got his delivered.
And you? What's your story with EV? Do you own one? Do you plan to? Any friend bought one?
How many close people already cruise in silence and without smoke?
See you tomorrow for more Useless information!
Hive on!
