# The Splintergains report - Strategy seems to work - Splinter Stats Season 59 Report Card
@riandeuk
Alright quick report for now, amazing things happening with the pre-sale and some tweaks to the rewards system in Splinterlands. I know not everyone is happy with those, but it's much needed for any longevity of succes for the game.
Let's quickly look at some news:
strategy works
Last season I stopped renting cards and actually started renting out more, it lowers my season play earnings but nets a profit in the rental section. The dec earnings didn't cover my rental expenses for some time so accepting the lower play rewards and getting some rental income daily is way better overall. This season was no different, only thing I'm still renting is summoners. Hopefully get to pick some good summoners for each element when chaos is fully released..
presale started
On that note, the presale has started and the voucher prices are through the roof. Where I was thinking of buying a bunch to qualify for promo and airdrop cards I completely changed my mind. Right now it's selling of most vouchers and a chunk of the sps airdrop (always staking some daily too though) and buying more dec to either hold for airdrop or reinvest to new cards and build up my own collection.
As much as I'd love to get involved with the pre-sale it doesn't make sense at these prices. Regular sale it is for me, and picking up singles a lot probably!

---|---|
Silver Rank | 3357 |
Rating | 2064 - Silver III |

Tournament Ratio (Win/Loss+Draw) | 1.13 (17/15/0) |
Tournament Reward Placements | 0/1 |
Longest Streak | 8 |
Ratio is above 1, good stuff! Really getting settled in Silver right now, progressing through all the leagues us interesting and feels more natural as it happens that way in other games. Can't wait to hang in gold without the need (and expenses) to rent. But for now progressing each season from here is great.
Looking to move to Silver II next season as my power was just below 40k. For now I rented out a lot of my cards end of season..

A legendary and 2 gold foils, not bad those are the things that move the collection forward. Running out of quest potions quickly now, so getting to a higher rank is needed to keep getting chests and progressing forward. Still got 2 seasons worth left. Should be far into Silver II and maybe even reach Silver I with a bit of luck!
Collection progress since last season
Well would you look at that, another 500 dollar added to the collection value. Value is increasing exponentially again. I did reinvest a lot of dec, vouchers and sps but this is pretty steep. Exciting to see where it'll be after a full year or a year from now after the current reward cards are fully printed and chaos is sold out.

Good 1k+ income on rentals, and this should increase with each season when new cards are won to add here.
SPS Report

Good amount of SPS, it's still small compared to many but it's free money and will hopefully increase way more before end of the airdrop year. Looking forward to ranked SPS rewards, and brawls for that matter!
Nothing but great progress and excitement this season of Splinterlands.
On to the next season!
