My Hive Goals

One Million SPT

Weeks back my goal of reaching One Million SPT was accomplished. I manage to do this with posting from or to the Splintertalk.io frontend. I traded a little during this venture but my trading skills are not on par with my holding and stacking skills. So for those of you grinding trying to build a SPT stack its possible to do with hard work and good content. Those whale SPT votes aren't going to come if all you do is post a picture of your daily rewards. Put some substance in your posts along with your screenshots and hopefully the SPT whales will take notice and your SPT stake will rise. Keep in mind that one SPT equals 0.25 airdrop points for the ongoing SPS airdrop the Splinterlands company has given to all Splinterland asset holders. That means when you earn SPT with your posts and curation you are also earning SPS.

Build Leo Holdings

I have just started to focus on this goal and its been a long time coming. Currently I'm making small purchases of LEO while keeping an eye on the HIVE:LEO ratio. Currently we can get SIX LEO for each HIVE we trade and I think that is a decent deal so I'll be purchasing a little today to increase my liquid holdings. The only question I have is should I power it up or toss it in pools. The LeoFinance team announced that all add revenue generated from the LeoFinance site will be split with LEO holders who have their LEO Powered Up. That makes powering up even more tempting than it already was. However I have decided to toss my current liquid in a Liquidity Pool. I can always remove and powerup if I change my mind. My LEO purchasing and stacking will become allot more frequent than it was in the past as I want to have sizable LEO holdings.

New Tribes/MEME Stack

I haven't sought for new tribes in some time but one of the ones that I did seek out some months back and am bullish on is the MEME Tribe (HiveME.ME). There isn't much volume in terms of 24 hour sales but I do see the potential for that to change. Currently the MEME token main usecase is using it to create NFT(s) on the official HiveME.ME frontend. I created a couple one off niche NFT(s) that also give the MEME token a usecase. Those NFT(s) and their usecases are screenshoted and will be shared at the end of this post. I have a decent size delegation of MEME token given to me from the tribe owner himself. I have also purchased/earned a decent size stack on my own. I'll be running Splinterland MEME tournaments and MEME delegation contest throughout the next few months so keep your eyes peeled for them.

Splinterland Goals

With the SPS airdrop on the later stages of finishing I'm making a push to increase my airdrop points. Some ways I plan on doing this is: (1) I'm going to convert my HBD to HIVE and add it to the DEC:Swap.Hive pool located on the Hive Dex(s), (2) I'm thinking about sell/trade/swap (sad face) some of my Splinterland cards so I have more DEC. Dark Energy Crystals (DEC) give 1:1 airdrop points but when put in a DEC Pool (not all qualify) they give 2:1 airdrop points. I'm very bullish on SPS so I think the potential USD loss in holding DEC (which is likely going back down to $1/1000) is worth the gain in SPS holdings. I also want to increase my Chaos Legion booster pack holdings to 5,000* packs. Currently pack sales on the official Splinterlands site has slowed down so I feel no rush to get this done. However the longer I wait the less value I get for my purchase. This is because with each one million packs sold an NFT is airdropped. The longer we wait to purchase said packs the more airdrops we might potentially miss out on.

Increase Level Holdings

The PSYBERX game has quickly built a loyal base of community members. The game is currently in development but that doesn't mean you can't participate. PSYBERX has tons going on currently which include but are not limited to Land Sale, Token Sale, Giveaways, Liquidity Pools and the list goes on. Currently I hold a stack of about One Million Level which I had for some time. I planned on getting more but I never got around to it for some reason. I'm going to make this a priority in the upcoming week or so. How much more am I going to purchase? I'm not sure, I just know I want more. 10,000 Hive Power

I had this goal for sometime. In fact a little too long, I should be well past 10,000 HIVE Power by this time but I'm not. Currently I made the decision to passively increase my holdings until I'm ready to sell a portion of my Splinterland holdings. At which time (dependent on Hive Price) I will likely smash that 10,000 goal. Once I do surpass 10,000 HIVE Power I intend on delegating to specific projects such as LeoFinance, Ecency and PSYBERX. I also want to get back to trading assets and tokens on the Hive Dex(s) which should help me increase my HIVE Holdings. Problem is with the available Swap.Hive pools and all the other current opportunities on the HIVE Blockchain its seems as if one never has enough HIVE to participate in them all. If you are here reading this then you are as lucky as the rest of us that are currently on the Hive Blockchain (opportunity is starring at us daily: don't forget to seize it).

SPT Content Creators

Months back I started the SPT Content Creators Initiative (Its run by @monstercrusher). In short its a list of bloggers on the Hive Blockchain that likes to blog about Splinterlands while using the tags SPT and/or Splinterlands. Those on the SPT Content Creators list routinely get upvotes from the @monstercrusher account. Currently 125 members have joined the initiative. I'm reworking how I run this so updates have been slow to say the least. However we recently upped the SPT power in the @monstercrusher account by 250,000 SPT and there is more to come. The SPT Content Creators most recent update can be read HERE.

Conclusion:

Overall I'm happy with the progress with my goals. It was nice to surpass the One Million SPT goal as it allows me to put more focus on some of my other goals. I'm still stacking SPT as I feel as one day the SPT token could be implemented in the Splinterlands game. The Splinterlands team has shown to give value to everything they create. I don't see SPT being left behind in that regard so I'm stacking what I can.

I have an alternative account for playing Splinterlands (@sodom-lv) and it did not receive the upvote from @monstercrusher.
Do you know why? Or how to define a good quality content to be qualified for the upvote?

The Hive Blockchain allows for 10X max votes a day and with 125 members on the SPT Content Creators list that means we won't be able to upvote every post. The upvotes we currently give out are completely random however we are currently working on ways to improve the amount of upvotes we can hand out. Feel free to tag @monstercrusher in your created SPT content for a higher chance of receiving an upvote from said account. Upvotes from @monstercrusher are done manually.

Edit: To clarify, the Hive Blockchain voting power replenishes up to 10X max upvotes every 24 hours. One can upvote as much as they want if they have the resource credits to do so but if one upvotes too much the upvote currency value becomes null.

Nice update. I'm not sure how much 1 million SPT is, but it sounds a lot to take you over the 10k Hive.

SPT has dipped in USD from its all time high but I have no plans on selling anytime soon. It shouldn't take me much longer to get to 10,000 Hive Power. Good luck with all your goals including your Leo stacking.

I get motivated by your accounts achievement. So I just bought some SPT and staked it. Buy more Leo tokens is what I like to do, and to increase my SPS holding. Reading these posts inspires me !

Good job securing and building towards your goals. It looks like I will have to review or better said set some goals for myself. I am not that crypto rich as you are right now but I cant complain at all with over 60k SPS staked and growing by the day.
My SPT stake well I have not been posting too much SL content lately but your monstercrusher initiative made me rethink this. The one thing I would do in a different way is about HBD. The 20% APR on the HBD in savings is just too juicy to leave out. And while I keep the HBD I am keeping myself from taking too big risks which I sometimes do tend to since I come from the pro poker player world and my risk assesment is something from a different world and I have to work on that.

I wish I was crypto rich, not there yet but I like to think I'm on the right track. 60K SPS is a nice pile of SPS, congrats. 20% for HBD does look very tempting but I need liquid HIVE at the moment to pair with DEC for extra airdrop points. There is so much opportunity on HIVE right now its insane. Its nice to meet a fellow poker player. I wasn't a pro but I did spend many hours a week playing the game for years. I use to own my own poker forum and hosted games on all the big sites such as Party Poker, Poker Stars and Full Tilt (when it was around). The most I won in a single tournament was $10,000 in a $250-$300 buy in (online tournament).

Nice one! My biggest win was 4k on a Sunday million on pokerstars but I attended tons of live tournaments and earned about 15-20k per year net after tax, would say it was rather semi-pro since I always had a regular job as well. It all turned when I started playing pot limit OMAHA and the stakes where out of my comfort zone. I played a lot of cash games that swallowed a lot of my tournament profits. Would be cool to play a round of poker again thats why I really look forward to th Ragnarok Game.

I need liquid HIVE at the moment to pair with DEC for extra airdrop points

I do swap half of the sps to DEC and go into th DEC:SPS pool instead. Helps me to increase airdrop points and use my HBD for savings and polycub staking.

There are so many things to do on Hive that I don't see anyone being able to cover them all continuously, for example, I try to get to at least the top 3 or on the leaderboard on splinterlands bronze league but it does seem to favor me. I just wanted the extra change to keep my dec growing and get more airdrops on that too but It has not been the best fight for me since.
Congratulations on that SPT target you hit and I am currently looking into liketu, I like the ideas of pictures, everywhere so love the app.
overall, I think i should do more on hive since lately, i got busy with other things

So very true, there isn't enough time in the day to even attempt to do it all on HIVE. Congrats on top 3 in the Splinterlands Bronze league. That is no easy feat, there is allot of good players in each and every league.

I am undecided so I haven't decided whether or not I will stake my current SPT or sell them to get more cards instead.

You peaked my interest, what is cryptomanaics and what did you hear?

Do you know if the Splinterlands team is behind SPT or is someone we have no idea about?

Aggroed created the SPT tribe. It was one of the very first Tribes created, possibly the first one.

I am undecided so I haven't decided whether or not I will stake my current SPT or sell them to get more cards instead.

Without another usecase planned its likely the token dips further after the SPS airdrop ends. If I sell it will be to reposition. I'd be surprised if SPT doesn't get a new usecase eventually.

Cryptomaniacs is run by taskmaster4450 and jongolson. Splinterlands comes out quite often as a subject because Jon is a big Splinterlands fan. From what Jon said, he said he asked some questions about SPT in the bugs section and the staff there said SPT isn't something they are associated with.

SPT has been marketed as the official Splinterlands blog for sometime. The fact they gave it airdrop points means they recognized it as an official Splinterlands asset. It will be hard for the Splinterlands team to turn that back. Thanks for the information.
