How This Free Raffle Works
I will list five different USD price points for the upcoming Vouchers in the comment section. All you need to do is place an upvote on the comment you think holds the right predicted price. The Voucher price used to determine the winner will be the price a Voucher is worth seven days from this FREE Raffles creation (10/24/2021).
The group that upvoted the comment that displays the correct price will then be put in a raffle to win a Splinterlands Voucher. If you don't want to upvote the comment then leaving a reply under the prediction you think is most accurate will suffice. TWO choices each is allowed, those upvoting more then two choices will be excluded from the draw.

Too many hungry people and too much FOMO. Between the card-design chasers and those like me that just want in, there simply isn't enough to go around. Aggroed's pleas for moderation are going to go completely unheeded. I can see it easily surpassing $10 as that's where I might start thinking twice about it.
If Vouchers get crazy high, I might be a seller instead of a pack purchaser.
We don't have to wait long to find out.
Nope, I figure by the time I have a bundle of 5 vouchers ready, I'll know whether I'll be buying missing vouchers, or trying to make deals with the the high rollers chasing the card design opportunity reward.

Yeah, I knew about the voucher listings. Looks like the price is already lowering and trading hasn't even started yet. There was two 10 voucher orders at 20 HIVE but they have been removed. Currently top buy order is for one Voucher at the price of 20 HIVE. The price drops to 15 HIVE and much lower with just a handful of sales.
The bottom visible listing is 550 vouchers @ 10.1 hive. (edit: ...or was, I think it slipped off the bottom.)

If I was to make a guess here (using the current limited activity for Vouchers on Hive-Engine as my only reasoning), 20 HIVE might be too much to pay for vouchers. The removal of previous orders at that price could indicate as much. The five hive drop to 15 is the next purchase order. Then it quickly drops to 10 HIVE. If 10 HIVE is where the first big order is then 10 HIVE might be the sweet spot and the peak that gets the most sales. BUT where does the price go from there? Back up, keeps crawling down and will those numbers hold up until the date of 10/24/2021 which is the date a winner is picked in this raffle. There's allot to consider.
That's true. I've been keeping an eye on it to see what route I could take to get a couple promo cards and some packs I didn't put up for...lol With the current data available, for me, 100 packs is definitely out. But 10 hive would be hard to make a deal that I could provide enough value with as well as achieve what I want.
I'm obviously going to continue monitoring this closely.

There's likely many in the same boat as you. Enough to get a decent amount of boosters presale but not enough to hit that bonus level which is why I put together an offer to see if such people would be interested. I'm giving the promo card for every 50 packs purchased and 15% booster bonus. Min booster purchase is 20. Pack price is $3.60 + Voucher.

Making sure I understand. You're offering the promo for 50 and a 15% bonus at a discount for buying aftermarket from you, basically a discount for giving up the future airdrop potential part?
I was expecting about an $8 voucher and was thinking to buy my way to 50 when 100 blew up in my face to get at least some of what I wanted, (the promo card, if not the discount.) I'll have to look and see how vouchers go for a few days to see how much of that plan is still viable or if I have to default to marketing to the high rollers for discounted vouchers. I will definitely keep you and your offer in mind though. I made a note about it.
I will give the gntd promo card for each 50 boosters purchased + 15% booster bonus. In your case of wanting exactly 50 you would get the promo card and 8 extra boosters. I round any 0.50+ booster percent upwards. I'll be paying with SPS and am passing the 10% savings to anyone purchasing packs with me. That puts the cost of purchased boosters at $3.60 USD + a voucher.
There's some drawbacks. One that you noted, no future airdrop potential. I won't be making my purchase until the last days of presale / first days of grace period. Presale last 4 weeks and then there's a 7 day grace period in which the presale still takes place but no more vouchers gets airdropped. I will accept HIVE/HBD/DEC or SPS as payment. Payment needs to be given to me before I make my purchase. I won't be accepting payments until the days leading up to my purchase.
Fail safe for your currency while I'm holding it. Once you give me the funds + vouchers to cover the cost of the booster purchase you want I will lock that price in for you. This means that if the value of the tokens used as payment dip, I will cover the extra cost myself BUT if the value of the tokens rise I will send you any balance not needed that is owed to you. This applies up until the moment I make the purchase. I'll likely put out a detailed post within the next 24 hours to see if this gets any interest.

From a game theoretic perspective, it pretty much only makes sense to vote this. If it is less than $6, you lose, at most, $5.99. And if it is worth more, then you actually get a shot at voucher.
Sure but you forgot to consider the odds of winning the raffle itself. So far the odds for winning Option Five Raffle would be 1/28 but if a voucher was under $1.00 USD the odds of winning a voucher would be 1/3 (only three upvotes qualify for Raffle One so far). More upvotes are likely to come in so those percentages will vary.
Didn't forget, it just feels insignificant. Best case, 1/3 of $1 is 0.33. Sure, 6/29 (current upvotes and worst case scenario) is $0.21. But if I now vote $1, and it best case is $1, that's $0.25. And that's best case. As opposed to worst case of $6.

I would like to say around 4-6 because the price of the pack is $4. But the real reason people are buying presale is because of the promos and other bonuses so I would say over $6.
I would take Option Five but would say Voucher would be around 10 to 12$ Each !

I can't imagine the vouchers will sell for less than $4 each. Everyone seems to want to reach 50 packs for the promo card and there are significant rewards for reaching 1000 packs. There just aren't enough to go around and I think a large number of people will overpay for bragging rights.
