Spicy Stir Fried Chicken by Brother Edi

Today I woke up early but for some reason it's hard to move so I went to the kitchen to pick some food, but sadly after that my eyes are so heavy and I fell asleep till 1 PM.
So sad that I had to skip the Friday prayer. My body is too heavy to move and as always my city is so hot and it makes me so lazy to finish my work so I decided to go out for lunch.

It's not hard to find a place for lunch in my city, but it's hard to decide which one is suited for this hot day, and after some thought I decided to visit one of my favorite places to eat.

This place is named “Warung Ayam Tumis Mas Edi” or in English “Brother Edi’s Stir Fry Chicken”, located at Patimura Street, Sail, Pekanbaru City.

I found this place about 11 years ago, when I was on my way home from swimming at Kalinjuang Swimming Pool for my School extracurricular when I was in high school.

It tooks about 20-30 minutes driving from my house using my motorcycle, because I love driving slowly so I can see something that may be useful for me later.

Nothing much changes happened in this place, still using the old building and with the same parking spot. Nothing fancy from the outside, so people probably skip this place if they ever pass by this street, but because this place is so famous, the parking spot is almost always full and sometimes people will park at the roadside.

This place only provides 1 menu only, which is Stir Fry Chicken, with 2 variations, the first one is Spicy Stir Fry Chicken, and the second one is Soy Sauce Stir Fry Chicken. And for the drink you can order some juices and tea Hot or cold. If you love the warm water you can just ask them and they will give it to you free of charge.

Ordering the menu is not hard, either you call the server or you go to the counter and they will ask you which variation you want to order. The food will come fast but sometimes it takes time especially on the lunch break and the weekend. There will be so many visitors to this place.

This Stir Fry Chicken consists of boiled egg, a small slice of chicken cooked with special ingredients with some sliced cabbage and sliced mustard. As usual they will give you a plate of rice with some crackers.

The food is served hot so you can wait for a bit till it is warm enough for you. Or it will burn your tongue for sure (it happened a lot to me).

I don't see any extra soy sauce or extra chili at my table but the taste is already good enough for you to eat.

1 portion of Stir Fry Chicken is only 16K Indonesian Rupiah, it is just about 1.2 USD. It is cheap enough for someone in the late month where the salary mostly gone for good at this date haha LMFAO.
