Konglak hill - The highest point of Sajek Valley aka the Queen of Hills!

One of the major attractions of Sajek Valley is seeing the sunrise & sunset from Konglak hill. The hill is suited in the north of Chittagong Hill Tracts- Bangladesh, is about 400 feet but the valley is around 2000 feet from the sea level. That ensures getting the best mountain view with greenery and an unadulterated combination of clouds.

It takes 30-40 minutes of tracking to reach the top of the mountain. But the track is not so upright, tourists can easily go on the top. My mom easily finished the track, so don't worry!
Also, there are a few stores after tracking for 20 minutes, where we paused, drink cold water, and restarted tracking.

Let me share my experience of tracking, and seeing the sunset from the top of the hill with some photos.

This hill is the residence of Tripura and Lusai ethnic groups. The area is called Konglak Para (কংলাক পাড়া). So we got to see their household and a glimpse of their everyday lifestyle. I have heard that in all, 10 to 12 families live there.

After tracking for 15 minutes, we left behind their household and were about to be on the top of the hill.

We went on the tour at a very picky time. The track was full of tourists. We had the wait on the narrow track for those who were coming down from the mountain.

It took us not more than 40 minutes to reach the top. We were 13 of my family members, and we didn't have much experience in tracking and that's why felt every existed. But we all sure enjoyed the experience.

We had a cup of tea after tracking for 20 minutes. It was a much-needed break.

You need to climb to the top by folding the legs in the folds of the huge stone. The whole path is mountainous. The body trembles when you look down. At one point you have to cross the dangerous path and set foot on that highest peak.

It is not possible to express the beauty of the evening with its description. The sunset mesmerized us.

Everyone is fascinated by the amazing scenery around. Konglak hill is the highest peak of Sajek. The beauty of the whole Sajek valley can be seen by standing on the top of the hill of Konglak.

My son is watching the sunset. He made it to the top without any exhaustion! My hero!

On the way back from Konglak hill, if you take a pause and look around; this is what you will get to see. The whole valley, a few resorts, the households of the locals, the tourists, and the beautiful clouds, mountains, and sky; everything at a glance!

The darkness of the evening became more intense.

The authority doesn't allow the tourists to stay after the evening because there's no light on the track. We had to go back down.

We all were exhausted, hungry, and out of breath. But at the same time, we were so happy that we made it all together. The beauty from the top of Konglak hill, and the scenery around everything will be in our memory for a long period of time.

On top of everything, my 5 years old made it without even asking for help or holding my hand for once. That's what made this experience a hundred times better.
