Installed a new Bird Feeder | Preparing multigrain bird food and sharing some bird Photos.
A good amount of Sparrows and Starling visit my balcony every day to have some free meal!
And I love it.
Getting to see a lot of birds in this megacity feels like a blessing. As we live in a residential area that contains hundreds of highrises/apartment buildings so birds usually don't visit near us. Only after I added a pot of rice randomly on my balcony years ago made they give us a visit.
And guess what! I usually have to provide 100gm of food every single day. That's how many birds come to have food.
It's because maybe they are not getting enough from outside.
I usually only provide them with the rice in a pot. But got to see, because of the rain their food was getting wet every day and they were waiting to see if we take any measures. To solve the problem I thought to buy a birdfeeder. Also, I bought some multigrain food too.
Here's the food, we mixed them together.
We mixed them together. My son helped me to fill the feeder.
The feeder comes with a lock to attach it to the case. But as my feeder was not for captive birds so it was not working on the balcony grills. I had to put a rope on to attach it to my balcony.
Let me share some photos that I took a few days ago.
These Starlings were having an important conversation, maybe and having some food.
Sorry for the blurry photos, I took them from a distance, also my balcony glass door was not open because they will fry away if they notice me.
Starlings are so fearless, clever, and talkative!
When they see that the feeder is empty, they take a look inside my balcony, sometimes come into our room too to let us know what they want. Whenever I see someone randomly roaming around or making a huge noise, we know that they need more food.
Believe me, this experience is so precious for us. Because without giving them food, we would probably never see them so closely. No need to say for my son, it's super exciting and we all love this.
Have a good day, everyone.

You do not have to see a lot of birds to feel like blessed. One is enough, if you love him/her. Usually I see only one bird, and she is my Harris's hawk. And I love her so much. We literally sleep together. She is a real blessing.
Have a nice day. All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.
We have different tatse of life, dear.
As Bangladesh is a country of birds, waking up with bird's Chirping is quite common here. I wish I could have the opportunity. So I'm making the room for myself.
Thanks for sharing your experience. Have a good day 🌸☀️

This has Make me remember when I was young, me and my friends we used to shoot catapult and our Target was always to shoot at bird, and during those days, birds were always far away from us and refused not to come close to our neighborhood but nowadays I see birds wherever I go, children do not even bother shooting at them, not like us, who tries all meanss to shoot at them one after the other.
Bird are really beautiful creature, and the deserve the best 🤗
Same here. It was a fun game during our childhood. I didn't do it ever but have seen a lot to do the same and it was pretty normal back then.
Good that now this value changed. We became a little more concerned about nature and environment.
Thanks for sharing your experience.
It was what i love most back then, but just as you have said, it feels nice knowing we have embrace Nature
