Evening Food Haul with family!
Did you ever felt hungry even after having a meal? This evening I felt like that. I was craving some spicy food. But it was more like wanting to go outside and hang out in the outdoor ambiance while having some food.
Fortunately, there's a nearby open food court to serve the craving. I went there with my in-laws and had some great food with lots of chit-chat.
This was in front of the shopping mall called 'Bonobothi'. There were almost 20 small food shops that offers popular snacks and drinks items.
We had some chicken chaap with luchi, fuchka, and lacci. I know, all the names are wired to you but they are very local food and don't have any other name. Once you see the food photos, you will get how delicious they were.
This was the place and its menu.
This is what we call Doi/curd fuchka. It's filled with chickpeas, potatoes, and a lot of spices and topped with curd and chanachur. It's a blast of flavor in the mouth.
This was the juice bar and their menu.
This drink is called lacchi, it's made out of sweet curd, mint, and lemon. It's so refreshing.
I forget to capture the chicken chaap and luchi's photos. It was so delicious, you can see the food in the background.
As a stay-at-home mom, I sometimes feel the way that I mentioned above. This food haul after a long day felt really good. I have been there many times and I love it every time. The food was good and the place was full of a lively vibe.
I agree everything looks delicious. I want to try 😋
Thanks :)
I wish I could share it with you.
Just today I too had some doi fuchka with my family. It surely is a blast of different types of flavor, I sure love it, but I don't why and how some people dislike doi fuchka. LIKEE HOWW?
I like both the original and the sweet doi version, I always mix it up when ordering. A little fuchka break once a month is a must I'd say. 😋
I'm a fan of Fuchka. I guess who doesn't like the texture of doi or doesn't want their fuchka to be soggy won't love doi fuchka that much.
Yes, once in a while a fuchka break is a must.
The foods look so appetizing. It got me drooling, and wondering how it tastes. I never tried such food.
Thanks for saying so. They are very local so they tastes delicious to me :)
I wish I could share with you.
I see. Is it in Bangladesh?
Yes, it is.
Oh my! Doi/curd fuchka looks like the kind of food I need in my life. Beautiful place. Delicious food. Thanks for sharing this post, @rem-steem
