Greetings, my friends and fellow bloggers of #HaveYouBeenHere, the travel community. I hope you are well and eager to detail some great travel photos.
This time I want to share with you some of the photos I took on a trip I made a few years ago to Valencia, Carabobo, in which I was able to attend the Christmas Fair of the municipality of San Diego, in the metropolitan park of that municipality. The truth is that I was surprised by the level of detail, dedication and beauty that those in charge of this activity applied.
This fair used to be celebrated annually, although I don't know if they are currently doing it, but I hope they are, because I think it is something worth visiting and seeing, I hope to see it again and observe what new technological ideas they apply to it. Here I leave you some of the photos in collages because I took a lot of them.

En esta ocasión quiero compartir con ustedes algunas de las fotos de que tomé en un viaje que hice hace unos años a Valencia, Carabobo, en el cual pude asistir a la Feria Navideña del municipio San Diego, en el parque metropolitano de dicho municipio. La verdad es que me sorprendió el nivel de detalle, dedicación y belleza que aplicaron los encargados de dicha actividad.
Esta feria era celebrada anualmente, aunque actualmente no sé si la están realizando, pero ojalá que sí, porque creo que es algo que vale la pena visitar y ver, yo espero poder verla de nuevo y observar que nuevas ideas tecnológicas aplican a la misma. Aquí les dejo algunas de las fotos en forma de collages porque fueron muchas las que tomé.
As soon as we arrived we found an exhibition of a wide variety of handcrafted products, with typical Venezuelan sweets and ornaments alluding to the season.
Apenas llegar nos encontramos con una exposición de productos artesanales de lo más variados, con dulces típicos venezolanos y adornos alusivos a la época del año.
There were also woven ornaments, jewelry, badges (with quite diverse designs) and rag dolls.
No podían faltar los adornos tejidos, alhajas, chapas (con diseños bastante diversos) y muñecas de trapo.
Among the artisans was this gentleman who worked with wood, especially dedicated to games and puzzles, very original and creative, I must say. This gentleman challenged me saying "if you manage to solve this puzzle in one try, I'll give it to you", of course I accepted the challenge, and of course I lost hahaha. Then I bought him this (and other) puzzles, and I made several attempts to solve it (by the way, I am a regular to this kind of games).
Entre los artesanos estaba este señor que trabajaba con madera, especialmente dedicado a juegos y rompecabezas, muy originales y creativos, debo decir. Este señor me retó diciendo "si logras resolver este rompecabezas en un intento, te lo regalo", claro que acepté el reto, y claro que perdí jajaja. Luego le compré este (y otros) rompecabezas, e hice unos varios intentos para poder solucionarlo (por cierto, soy asiduo a este tipo de juegos).
As we continued walking we came across several "extreme" attractions, such as one called "the hammer" (people climbed about 30 meters high) and another that was like a super swing that went all the way around (I, who suffer from vertigo, suffered just looking at them).
Al seguir caminando nos encontramos con varias atracciones "extremas", como una llamada "el martillo" (la gente subía como a 30 metros de altura) y otra que era como un súper columpio que daba la vuelta entera (yo, que sufro de vértigo, sufría con solo verlos).
There were also attractions for the little ones and live music (Venezuelan gaita) especially for the older ones. By the way, they had a clear and loud sound.
También habían atracciones para los más pequeños y música en vivo (gaita venezolana) especialmente para los más grandes (#MusicForlife). Por cierto, tenían un sonido claro y bien fuerte.
But the centerpiece of the fair was definitely the lights (wow!) every tree in the park was extensively decorated with lights in a variety of colors. I read that throughout the park there were MORE THAN 3 MILLION LED LIGHTS and I don't doubt it!
Pero el centro de la feria eran definitivamente las luces (¡wow!) cada árbol del parque estaba ampliamente decorado con luces de variedad de colores. Leí que en todo el parque había MÁS DE 3 MILLONES DE LUCES LED ¡Y no lo dudo!
Even the animal figures that adorned the park were adorned with a multitude of lights, such as this butterfly and extra family-sized snails.
Inclusive las figuras de animales que adornaban el parque fueron adornadas con multitud de luces, como esta mariposa y caracoles de tamaño familiar extra.
There were areas full of orange trees, whose fruits were very beautiful and captivating lights, it made you want to lie down and sleep under those trees.
Habían zonas llenas de árboles tipo naranjales, cuyas frutas eran luces muy bonitas y cautivadoras, daba como ganas de acostarse a dormir bajo esos árboles.
However, the central light show consisted of this Christmas tree about 20 meters high that had a set of lights according to the Christmas music that was playing (very very loud indeed, it was very difficult to converse), they called it a "singing tree" although I saw it more as a "dancing tree".
Sin embargo, el espectáculo de luces central consistía en este árbol de navidad como de 20 metros de alto que tenía un juego de luces acorde a las músicas navideñas que sonaban (muy muy fuerte por cierto, era muy difícil conversar), lo llamaban "árbol cantante" aunque yo lo veía más como "árbol bailador".
The celebration was so special that even Barney, Donkey and Shrek showed up.
La celebración fue tan especial que hasta Barney, Burro y Shrek se presentaron.
And speaking of Shrek, it looks like he wanted to see a fight between DC Comics vs Marvel Comics (or maybe he wanted to challenge Spider-Man).
Y hablando de Shrek, parece que quería ver una pelea entre DC Comics vs Marvel Comics (o tal vez quería retar a Spiderman).
I couldn't miss one of the many photos I took of my much loved and very beautiful wife <3.

And to finish, a picture next to her, who illuminates my heart more than all the lights in the park <3.

It has definitely been one of the most amazing and interesting events I have seen (and to think that we went just because we were passing through Valencia without having any idea of this event!) So if you hear that this event is still taking place, do not hesitate to attend, you will be left with a good taste in your mouth and good memories, and do not forget to bring your cameras loaded!
Definitivamente ha sido uno de los eventos más sorprendentes e interesantes que he contemplado ¡y pensar que fuimos solo porque estuvimos de paso en Valencia sin tener idea de dicho evento! Así que si se enteran de que este evento aún se realiza, no duden en asistir, quedarán con muy buen sabor de boca y buenos recuerdos ¡y no olviden llevar sus cámaras cargadas!
