Hoy les contaré de un sitio al que tenía ganas de ir hace mucho tiempo, este lugar se llama Pozo Azul.

Entonces, les contaré que tal estuvo apreciados Hivers...

A big greeting to all the HIVE community! Welcome to this humble space, where I share with you my adventures, some other experiences and tutorials.
Today I will tell you about a place I have been wanting to go to for a long time, this place is called Pozo Azul.
So, I will tell you how it was dear Hivers....

Partimos bien temprano en la mañana, aproximadamente a las 7:30am rumbo a Pozo Azul, íbamos con una empresa dedicada al turismo y con un grupo de personas. En este caso yo iba acompañado de una gran amiga.

Pozo Azul se encuentra ubicado entre el Cerro "El Morrón" y la aldea "Los Palmares", cerca del pueblo "San Pedro del Río" en el municipio "Ayacucho" Estado Táchira - Venezuela y forma parte de un conjunto de aproximadamente 40 pozos, siendo este uno de los más grandes y llamativos, los pozos varían en profundidad desde 1,50 metros hasta los 14 metros de profundidad.

We left very early in the morning, approximately at 7:30am, heading to Pozo Azul, we were going with a company dedicated to tourism and with a group of people. In this case I was accompanied by a great friend.
Pozo Azul is located between the hill "El Morrón" and the village "Los Palmares", near the town "San Pedro del Río" in the municipality "Ayacucho" Táchira State - Venezuela and is part of a group of approximately 40 wells, this being one of the largest and most striking, the wells vary in depth from 1.50 meters to 14 meters deep.

El viaje en el transporte duró aproximadamente 1:30 minutos, Luego de aproximadamente 45 minutos de viaje, realizamos la primera parada al llegar al pueblo de "San Pedro del Río", donde tuvimos unos minutos para recorrer algunas calles y tomarnos algunas fotografías.

The trip in the transport lasted approximately 1:30 minutes, after approximately 45 minutes of trip, we made the first stop when we arrived to the town of "San Pedro del Rio", where we had a few minutes to walk through some streets and take some pictures.

Estando en el centro del pueblo aproveché y le pedí a mi amiga que me tomara una foto enfrente de la famosa iglesia del pueblo.

Being in the center of town I took the opportunity and asked my friend to take a picture of me in front of the famous church of the town.

En esta fotografía estábamos contentos y sonrientes porque ya estábamos cada vez más cerca de nuestro destino y obviamente estábamos contentos porque habíamos comido unos ricos aperitivos antes de abordar de nuevo la unidad de transporte para seguir con nuestro camino.

In this picture we were happy and smiling because we were getting closer and closer to our destination and obviously we were happy because we had eaten some delicious snacks before boarding again the transportation unit to continue on our way.

Luego de haber recorrido aproximadamente entre 30 y 45 minutos más en la unidad de transporte, llegamos a un punto donde debíamos bajarnos para comenzar a caminar, en este caso verán letrero detrás de nosotros, dónde indica a qué distancia nos encontramos de Pozo azul.

After having traveled approximately 30 to 45 minutes more in the transportation unit, we arrived at a point where we had to get off to start walking, in this case you will see a sign behind us, where it indicates how far we are from Pozo Azul.

Después de caminar por un buen rato aproximadamente una hora de bajada realizando trekking llegamos al primer primer pozo llamado Pozo Playa, donde disfrutamos un rato de la naturaleza y por supuesto del agua del pozo que estaba fría pero agradable.

After walking for about an hour downhill trekking we arrived at the first well called Pozo Playa, where we enjoyed nature for a while and of course the water of the well which was cold but pleasant.

Después de estar un buen rato en Pozo Playa, un poco más adelante encontramos una planicie compuesta por roca madre, dónde dejamos nuestras pertenencias, mientras tanto aprovechamos para almorzar y contar algunas anécdotas.

After being a while in Pozo Playa, a little further on we found a plain composed of bedrock, where we left our belongings, while we had lunch and told some anecdotes.

Cuándo almorzamos y descansamos un rato, decidimos seguir explorando un poco para ver dónde estaba exactamente el famoso Pozo Azul y lo encontramos al terminar la planicie de roca madre, un pozo con aproximadamente 10 metros de profundidad y que cuando la luz del sol incide en un ángulo preciso, sus aguas se tornan azuladas, todo un espectáculo.

When we had lunch and rested for a while, we decided to continue exploring a little to see where exactly was the famous Blue Well and we found it at the end of the plain of bedrock, a well with approximately 10 meters deep and when the sunlight hits at a precise angle, its waters turn blue, a spectacle.

Una vez que encontramos el pozo azul fuimos con el grupo por otro sendero para poder acceder a él, al llegar al nivel del pozo, lo primero que encontramos fue una pared de roca madre donde no quise desaprovechar la oportunidad para hacerme una fotografía.

Once we found the blue well we went with the group through another path to access it, when we reached the level of the well, the first thing we found was a wall of bedrock where I did not want to miss the opportunity to take a picture.

Y aquí me ven disfrutando de los alrededores del pozo, por supuesto me hice algunas fotografías con la ayuda de mi amiga, la fotografía del centro fue justamente antes de lanzarme un clavado hacia el pozo.

And here you see me enjoying the surroundings of the well, of course I took some pictures with the help of my friend, the picture in the center was just before diving into the well.

Cuando ya teníamos un buen rato Disfrutando del maravilloso pozo azul y la naturaleza que le rodea, uno de los guías nos comentó que más abajo de este pozo encontraríamos aguas azufradas o termales, es por ello que decidimos emprender una corta caminata para llegar hasta el sitio, dónde aprovechamos de cubrirnos con el lodo que tiene buenas propiedades curativas y depurativas, según el guía. Aquí me ven con mi amiga cubierto de lodo para aprovechar esas propiedades, también nos acercamos a la fuente de donde salía el agua termal y nos cubrimos el rostro con el azufre que estaba entre las rocas, todo era parte de la experiencia.

When we had already had a good time enjoying the wonderful blue well and the nature that surrounds it, one of the guides told us that below this well we would find sulfur or thermal waters, that is why we decided to take a short walk to reach the site, where we took the opportunity to cover ourselves with the mud that has good healing and purifying properties, according to the guide. Here you see me and my friend covered with mud to take advantage of these properties, we also approached the source where the thermal water came out and we covered our faces with the sulfur that was among the rocks, it was all part of the experience.

Finalmente antes de irnos del pozo nos hicimos otra selfie juntos, para inmortalizar el momento, sin duda alguna esto fue toda una aventura, donde disfrutamos de la naturaleza, de los pozos, de las propiedades curativas y depurativas de las aguas termales, de la compañía de mi amiga y también conocimos otras personas en el tour, con las cuales entablamos amistad.

Luego de un rato subimos hasta dónde estaban nuestras pertenencias, nos cambiamos la ropa y nos fuimos del lugar siguiendo el mismo camino que habíamos tomado para llegar hasta montarnos de nuevo en la unidad de trasporte y seguir nuestro rumbo a casa.

Finally before leaving the well we took another selfie together, to immortalize the moment, without a doubt this was quite an adventure, where we enjoyed nature, the wells, the healing and purifying properties of the hot springs, the company of my friend and we also met other people on the tour, with whom we became friends.
After a while we went up to where our belongings were, we changed our clothes and left the place following the same path we had taken to get back on the transportation unit and continue our way home.
