Hoy les hablaré de mi aventura del fin de semana pasado, fui con mi hermana @keritroberts y un par de amigos al "Cerro El Chimborazo", ubicado en la parte alta de la ciudad de San Cristóbal, Estado Táchira - Venezuela, donde estuvimos disfrutando por un buen rato de la naturaleza y recargándonos de energía para el resto de la semana.

Today I will tell you about my adventure last weekend, I went with my sister @keritroberts and a couple of friends to "Chimborazo Hill", located in the upper part of the city of San Cristobal, Tachira State - Venezuela, where we were enjoying nature for a while and recharging energy for the rest of the week.

Iniciaré mostrándoles el mapa de la ruta completa desde el punto de partida hasta nuestro destino en el "Cerro El Chimborazo", con una distancia total recorrida de aproximadamente 8.5km, esto comprende tanto lo que recorrimos caminando atravesando la ciudad y lo que recorrimos mientras hacíamos el trekking subiendo la montaña.

I will begin by showing the map of the complete route from the starting point to our destination at "Chimborazo Hill", with a total distance covered of approximately 8.5km, this includes both what we walked through the city and what we did while climbing the mountain.

Mi hermana me tomó esta foto desprevenido mientras caminábamos por la ciudad, rumbo a nuestro destino. Iba conversando con uno de los amigos que nos acompañaba a esta aventura.

My sister took this photo of me unawares while we were walking through the city, on our way to our destination. I was chatting with one of the friends who accompanied us on this adventure.

Esta fotografía también fue desprevenida, allí ya nos encontrábamos cerca del cauce de un arroyo donde estaríamo9s por un largo rato. Parece que se me había olvidado el camino, pero pronto recordé la ruta exacta.

This photograph was also unexpected, there we were already near the bed of a stream where we would be for a long time. It seems that I had forgotten the way, but I soon remembered the exact route.

Luego de recordar el camino por donde debíamos ir, de caminar un rato más y ubicar el mejor lugar para disfrutar de nuestra estancia allí en la montaña, dejamos nuestras pertenencias en una gran piedra y nos tomamos una selfie.

After remembering the way we were supposed to go, walking a little more and locating the best place to enjoy our stay there in the mountain, we left our belongings on a big rock and took a selfie.

Luego nos sumergimos un poco en el arroyo, para ir acostumbrándonos a la temperatura del agua que estaba bastante fría y estando allí sentados nos hicimos otra selfie para retratar nuestra felicidad de estar allí.

Then we submerged a little in the stream, to get used to the water temperature, which was quite cold, and while sitting there we took another selfie to portray our happiness of being there.

Cerca de donde nos tomamos la selfie había un desnivel en el arroyo en donde luego se nos ocurrió sentarnos uno a uno para disfrutar de un hidromasaje.

Near where we took our selfie, there was a dip in the stream where we sat down one by one to enjoy a hydromassage.

Mi hermana me tomó esta fotografía, ahí estaba yo contento por la sesión de hidromasaje que me ofrecía la naturaleza, por cierto, fui uno de los que más tiempo estuvo ahí sentado, no quería irme, la verdad es que era bastante relajante. En algún momento estando allí sentado recordé hacer un ejercicio que consiste en cerrar los ojos y concentrarme en lo que estoy sintiendo y en lo que pasa a mi alrededor en ese momento, como la sensación del agua corriendo por mi cuerpo, los sonidos que hacen parte de ese instante y el bienestar que me genera estar allí, para luego utilizar ese recuerdo sensorial cuando desee evocarlo.

My sister took this picture of me, there I was happy for the hydromassage session that nature was offering me, by the way, I was one of those who sat there the longest, I didn't want to leave, the truth is that it was quite relaxing. At some point while sitting there I remembered to do an exercise that consists of closing my eyes and concentrating on what I am feeling and what is happening around me at that moment, such as the sensation of the water running through my body, the sounds that are part of that moment and the well-being that being there generates in me, and then use that sensory memory when I want to evoke it.
