On Wednesday this week God gave me blessings where I live, and at the same time a disaster occurred due to heavy rain which caused flooding. I'm monitoring the new water level today

During the dry season, we always pray for rain, but during the rainy season, we are always restless, afraid of flooding, that's the basis of nature, which is not perfect, but it will be beautiful if we put it together. This week in my area, Aceh, Indonesia, to be precise, was hit by a flood disaster where heavy rain for 4 days in a row resulted in river water overflowing so that it flowed into residential areas.

Heavy Rain

At the end of every year in my area it is always the rainy season which sometimes lasts up to 3 months starting from the 9th to the 12th month before the turn of the year it continues to rain. However, sometimes even though it rains heavily, flooding doesn't always occur.

This time, the rain continued for 4 days without stopping, resulting in the embankment breaking in the river and flooding. When it rains for 4 days, I can't do anything, I can only think at home. Many farmers can't go to their gardens, as well as fishermen in my area.

On the 4th day since the heavy rain finally stopped and we were very happy, but a day later we did not expect that we received news that the river water had overflowed and was about to flow into residents' settlements.

I, who at this time wanted to go to my hangout place to drink a cup of coffee, turned out to be the first area to be hit by water because it was very close to the river.

I am very sad because I haven't tasted coffee made in this shop for a long time. I usually just enjoy coffee that I brew myself. LOL

Many People Walking in the Middle of Flood

On the street, apparently I wasn't alone. I saw lots of people walking in the flood waters, some wanted to see their livestock, some were just curious to see the water and small children swimming in it.

Hundreds of people walked through the flood waters with curious and sad hearts, but the residents and I did not give up because this was indeed a trial so that we would be better in the future in social society.

The area that I share is 50 meters from my house but I'm sorry I can't take pictures at my house because the road to the house is inaccessible and our family and I are now displaced.

Many residents here who were trapped by the flood were unable to continue their journey and only sat on high rises, both men and women, like in front of me there is a beautiful girl. LOL

There are also those who break through floods with their motorbikes, but I don't recommend it because I have experience going through floods with a motorbike which seriously damaged my motorbike.

Hope the Flood Recedes

I really hope that the flood waters recede and the residents can carry out their usual activities, it's a shame that the residents' livelihoods have been halted due to this flood disaster.
