You Might Just Be An Investment Junkie Like Me

Remember how junkies are always looking for more money to buy narcotics but they are extremely broke and look unkept, and you are wondering why? And how they get the money to always buy more narcotics. Well look at you now, doing the same with investments. I got to accept my reality that am an investment junkie 3 years ago, when I realized that I was ready to starve myself and use my money for food to buy crypto or invest in any investment opportunity.

In 2019 I didn’t buy any new shoe for myself and I bought just few clothes, nothing fancy just clothes to run errands in, but my investment portfolios were beautifully large. You can look at my investment portfolio and won’t believe they belong to me because I never acted or looked like someone who owned the portfolio. Yep!!! I am an investment junkie, investing gives me relief than spending it and I love that feeling.

Well if you are reading this and you don’t know what your diagnosis is, you have come to the right place, you will read some stuff so you can diagnose yourself and tell me if you are an investment junkie like me.

The Heartbreak Phase
One way to know that you are investment junkie is that, no matter how many heartbreaks you have gotten from investing, you have never considered giving up in investing. In fact you come back bigger and stronger after an investment heartbreak. For instance, the market is in a dip, we are heartbroken because our portfolios are down in value, but you are constantly looking for more money to buy the dip. Bruh!!! You are an investment junkie!! Yep!! I just said that. You are buying the dip, the dip is still dipping but you don’t mind buying more dips. You don’t mind getting money from anywhere, even if it takes you selling your shoe or the brand new OLED TV you just bought, but you have to buy the dip.

The Numerous Investment Apps You Have On Your Phone

Well the above image is my own investment apps, I don’t mind having more as long as I know I can make money off it and invest. From what you can see I have 6 Crypto exchanges, 4 DEX Wallets , 2 Crypto price Chart checkers and Trading View for technical analysis. The moment you check my phone and see these apps, you already know that the owner of this phone is a crypto investor junkie.

Investment Ticker Lingos Found on Phones

If you want to check another part of the diagnosis list is to check your note app to see if you can find crypto lingos or investment lingos. Is your note app filled with crypto and shares symbols just like mine?

These were crypto investment ticker symbols I was saving on my note app to research on in order for me to make my investment decisions. So go and check your note apps and come back with a comment saying that you are an investment junkie.

Joining Numerous Crypto Investment Group Chats and Following A Lot Crypto Twitter Account
This part is something that I can say am not really a part of when it comes to telegram crypto group chats but am very guilty in following lots of Twitter crypto accounts, I even put some on post on notifications, this helps me get notified when they tweet, gives me the chance of checking it fast just incase there is a fundamental news coming up against a coin.

If you are in more than 5 telegram, WhatsApp or Discord crypto group, you are a crypto or investment junkie.

That is always the case with investments that people believe are going to pan out in a big way: we cannot get enough of them.

Whether it is loading up on one token or getting involved in many, we always run into the same situation: not enough resources.

That is why time and compounding are so important. The more that happens, the bigger our bags. Then we can move things around and accumulate more digital assets.

I think the biggest trouble is when the habit catches up with you. We were cooking in the dark for months because I didn't want to spend on fixing the kitchen light. Finally, I got fed up and changed the fixture.

There's other maintenance around the house waiting. I'm not ready to admit a problem. I have it under control. Everybody buys dips, right?
