Desire is something we all have in our lives, but one of the greatest desires a man can have is the desire to attain financial freedom. This is something that cuts man too deep, because when someone seeks for the desire of financial freedom, it is usually made one dimensional. Do you understand what its meant for a desire to be one dimensional? This means that no other desire matters anymore because you are focused on one goal.

Some people make financial freedom a desire but unfortunately can’t keep up to it being a one dimensional desire, there is a lot of discipline involved in making financial freedom a desire, financial freedom involves putting a lot of of money, time and effort into making it a reality. Financial desire and channeling all your resources to it means that you won’t create room for other desires sometimes. For instance, if you are a chronic smoker and you have massive desire for smoking and also looking forward to having finacial freedom, there is every possibility that your massive desire for smoking can affect your financial freedom desire. This means that you have to cut out your desires for other things that will inhibit your achievements.

There are times where you need to learn to start spending way less than you earn, if possible, spend 40% of what you earn, so as to create a chance for investment. Its ironic how we are just an investment or idea away from attaining that financial freedom we have been searching for. You might be given the opportunity to invest in a token or businesss project but because of the lack of discipline of not saving or prioritising saving for investment might have you lose the opportunity. But if you decide to stick to the discipline of focusing on the desire to achieve financial freedom, you can decide to start saving a particular amount of Money monthly for the sole purpose of investing when you get the opportunity.. This means that you will discipline yourself enough to avoid spending your money on other things that won’t contribute to your effort of achieving that financial freedom.

In other words, the muscle of desire should be called sacrifice, putting everything aside to focus on one thing because it has been prioritised. Yeah it can Be painful most times when you are focused on your goals, because you have to turn a blind eye to every other desire you have, you need to stop seeing them or stop listening to them, because the more you focus on your other desires that won’t help you on achieving your most import desire, the more you derail from achieving the one that matters.
