Dollar Cost Average In/Out Your away Into Successful Crypto Trading
Few days ago I talked about My Crypto Journey On Investing Outside Hive To Bring The Profit Back To Hive which was practically my journey withdrawing funds from Hive, to invest outside Hive and buy Hive with my profit to power up and achieve my 10k HP goals on Hive.
I must say that this journey has been worth it, as I am learning a lot of things like patience. I love spot trading because the risk there is close to zero. You don’t have to worry so much about losing your total money as long as you are investing right, especially investing in the right crypto with utilities and use case. All you have to do is wait for your investment to grow.
I have been investing on GMT, the native token for a move to earn platform where you earn for moving around. The name is STEPN, While some people doubt the sustainability of the platform because the yield is too high, I just trade to make profit off its token. Getting the NFT shoe, a digital miner that lets you mine the native token while moving, is too expensive. I rather invest on the token.
Dollar Cost Average In
This is the point of buying an asset bits by bits in different prices to get the best quantity, this is very helpful when taking advantage of the dip. This way you don’t enter a trade too early and you don’t enter too late.
So I met GMT token at $2.8, due to the hype, I expected it go way higher so I bought about $50 worth of GMT. Few hours later it dipped to $2.6 I bought about another $50 worth, then it dipped more to $2.4 and down to $2.08. I bought every dip and decided to wait. The price rose to $2.6 and I kept waiting for it to get to $3 before I can buy more. Unfortunately it didn’t get to $3 but then dipped to $2.2, I felt sad because I was regretting I didn’t dollar cost average out. I decided to wait, because at this point, I was stuck between waiting for it to dip more or skyrocket, either way I will utilize it. If it dips more, I will buy the dip, if it skyrockets i will sell the top.
Dollar Cost Average Out
This is the process of slowly exiting a trade bits by bits so you don’t exit too early or too late.
After few days, the price of GMT started pumping, pumped to $2.6 and removed 25% of my investment, then a day later it pumped to $3.05 and I removed another 25% of my investment. This way I am safe, if the price decides to keep pumping, I am safe making money, if the the price decides to dip, I will always buy the dip.

This is such a good strategy and one we should pay more attention to! DCA in and out of investments FTW!
Its the safest way to buy the dip and sell the top
In my case, I'm dollar-cost averaging my way into a better Splinterlands deck. 😁
