Hey guys how are you doing today, it’s a lovely Sunday today, I hope you are having a great day today. It’s another to try to be productive, it’s just another day of trying to add value to your daily life. It could be reading a book, exercising your body, eating healthy or doing anything that gets you one step to achieving your goal.

As you all know I have been writing about my 10k goal before the end of this year. I have been consistent in blogging for the past 13 months and I am glad to see myself getting close to achieving my goal gradually. I have come to understand that Desire in trying to achieve something gets you more reps faster. Not necessary that you will get faster results but it’s going to help you attain better results. This is because at that moment, you are doing it because you want to do it and no one is forcing you, you are doing because you enjoy doing it.

Desire to achieve something gets you extremely motivated, it’s way different than something you are supposed to do. When you act upon it based on desire, you actually get better feedback, this feedback can be your rep, and in this case we see feedback through comments. You don’t do it based on something you think you are supposed to do but something you desire to do and want to do it. But if you do it based on something you are supposed to do, it comes as though you are being forced to do it.

Sprint For It

You will always look for ways to be better at what you are doing and this means that sometimes you will look for ways to get it done faster. You find yourself learning and putting the work to try and get things done willingly without external force or pressure from anywhere. When this attitude is applied on Hive, you see yourself getting more results. People tend to complain a lot when they don’t see results on Hive, and when I say results I mean getting big upvotes. But that is because, they don’t have the passion or are only limited to just the rewards on Hive. The rewards are good, growing your account is beautiful to see but they just don’t come easy. Lots of work needs to be put in, the moment you start doing it without passion or love, that will be the beginning of having this feeling exhaustion and probably feeling demotivated. Because the only source of motivation is high upvotes.

Lots of people have quit Hive because they don’t get upvotes or high upvotes, lots of people quit Hive because they are scared of not getting an upvote. But doing it based on desire to wanting to do it eliminates those fears and feelings, the votes will come afterwards.

Learning Has To Happen

If you dedicate your time on Hive to learning on the blockchain before earning, you will see faster results. My experience on the blockchain when I started newly was to focus on learning, and I am glad that I was able to blog about my learning experience on Hive. That is the advantage of Hive, learning starts with acquiring knowledge, then applying that knowledge to gain experience. You don’t gain experience if you don’t try, you don’t gain experience if you don’t apply. After gaining this experience, you reflect on those experiences and see how far you have improved.
