Can Crypto & The Government Coexist?

Just another day to remind you that crypto is here to stay and it’s once again slowly getting adopted. From few people accepting bitcoin and any other crypto as a means of payment to a country accepting crypto StableCoin as a means for tax payment. Argentine has made it very possible for tax payers now, with their new law but only for a specific province in the country.

This is going to make payment more easier for the resident of this place as this method help to adds to ways these people can make online payment. Crypto was built to make online payement very easy. This will also give them the opportunity to use crypto exchange platforms like Binance, thereby help to create more crypto awareness. So a win for a section of the crypto community it’s a win for us all, but if we notice, countries like Argentina are doing this because crypto is coming to their rescue during the times of high inflations.

Countries with bad economies know the importance of crypto way more than countries with good economy. This is because it has helped them to successfully preserve their wealth. The government has failed its people especially in countries with extreme high inflation, they can just switch to crypto if they have no solution in tackling inflation. So what other way is this Argentine province going to fight inflation than to use the StableCoin crypto means, besides its pegged to the American dollar which is like the widely used currency in the world and even though the country faces inflation, its still way better than most other countries.

This is just the beginning and the process of crypto adoption, if more countries start adopting crypto like this, little by little the world will be getting used to adopting crypto. Rome wasn’t built in a day, it’s a slow process, but sometimes I can’t help but think, is it possible for the government to completely accept crypto? Can crypto and the government coexist? Crypto was created to be transparent and give the users total ownership which is against what the government do. The Government is not completely transparent but the blockchain is, this will expose a lot of them, so why will they use it? The blockchain can not be hacked or compromised, so how can the government control people, lie and hide things from them?
