Greetings again my dear friends of this prestigious platform, as rational beings we know that on many occasions we are presented with any kind of obstacles or problems to solve and it is when our mind begins to visualize all those possibilities that allow us to move forward in the conquest of our successes raised, ie, a whole range of solutions with different nuances, and of course, orientations.

In some opportunities we accustom our mind to polarize the diversity of our thoughts, and with it, decide with absolute opinions, where, the nuances do not exist so it is white or black or in short it is all or nothing, these characteristics describe people with dichotomous thoughts, although we all usually go through this, however, when you make a habit of this is when you make the difference of having constant dichotomous thoughts to not.

Undoubtedly, there are some of our realities where this type of thinking is necessary to establish a certain foundation, since there are only two options, and our mind would be forced to dichotomize the expected decision, but there are people who, despite being able to think of other alternatives, continue with the same dichotomous pattern in their way of thinking.

Actually each person on this planet chooses or selects the way to see life, however, our life experience and nature itself teaches us that our thinking must move from one side to the other, sometimes stopping at a point of balance and thus different at each end, so I think that a person with dichotomous thinking is extremist because their decisions are located at a polarized end of the set of options to take.

So it would always be important to ask ourselves, Do we locate our mind within the sea of possibilities?

I believe that if we want to apply empathy and healthy coexistence we must see life in its combination of possibilities and it does not mean that sometimes we have or apply some dichotomous thinking, but that it is not our greatest denominator in each of our decisions, we know that in our environment we can find people with this type of thinking and we notice how when they make a mistake they will hardly give their arm to twist.

Our task is to be able to see ourselves in that mirror and understand that we will not always be right and that diversity of thought will be the best way to make decisions, and in addition, we will have the best option to socialize with all the people around us, something that a person with constant dichotomous thoughts could hardly achieve.

Until another opportunity my dear friends.
