I found a handful of happiness from hidden sadness
The weekend has just passed, and I hope that last weekend you all had happiness and satisfaction with your beloved family.
Start the new year 2022 with a new smile, new enthusiasm, new ideals of course with new hopes and new dreams, yes the name is also new year, so it must be all new, so my children said to me when they saw me frowning, gloomy last Sunday because I didn't I can go on a weekend vacation with my family, I'm natural to be cranky because I'm cooking at the beginning of the new year's weekend vacation at home, but I have to give in because I know the reason my husband didn't take us out on a weekend trip was because my husband got sick last Saturday because he was too busy. tired of work.
So to get rid of my boredom at home, I opened the menu for our family's cooking which was left by our grandmother, it is said that this recipe book has been inherited from generation to generation by our family, I opened it sheet by sheet, then I found a recipe that reads THE SECRET OF LUNCH THAT MAKES LONG LIVE.
I'm getting more and more curious about the contents in the recipe, I went back and forth the recipe repeatedly but I didn't find any pictures, none of the pictures were crossed out, there wasn't much explanation apart from the ingredients needed, namely Rice and Fish.
My common sense is spinning, maybe in ancient times the menus or ingredients that were easily available were rice and fish, and those were basic necessities that must have existed from the past until now.
Finally I decided to make our family weekend lunch menu from the main ingredients of rice and fish, but I made it a little more detailed and added some modern and contemporary recipes so that my friends can imitate them.
Materials needed
- Rice
- 2 tilapia (can also use other types of fish)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp lime juice
Ground spices
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 piece of Turmeric
- 2 tsp coriander
- 2 pieces of red chili
Soy Sauce
- 5 tablespoons spicy sweet soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 3 pieces of red chili
- 2 Spring onions
- 5 pieces of green chili
Once all the ingredients are available, it only takes a few steps to prepare a delicious dish.
Step 1
- After the fish is cleaned, coat the fish with a little salt and lime juice, wait a while so that the salt and lime juice seep into it
Step 2.
- Puree the Finely Seasoned Ingredients that have been Prepared by using a smoothing machine or blender
Step 3
- Coat the fish with spices that have been mashed until evenly distributed.
Step 4.
- Ampil the fish grill, put a banana leaf on it, then place the fish that has been smeared with spices on the banana leaf and cover the top of the fish again with the banana leaf.
Step 5
- prepare the charcoal grilled, then the fish is ready to be grilled.
If the grilled fish is cooked, you only need to add a bowl of white rice and the prepared soy sauce.
and this is the result...............
Even though we couldn't celebrate the new year outside the house and couldn't enjoy the weekend with holidays, we still found a handful of happiness that radiated from the faces of our children when enjoying the lunch menu that I had prepared.
And my husband also said thank you for preparing the most beautiful gifts at the beginning of the new year for all of us.
