To find Laurentius.

After escaping death, they were taking deep breaths and Amicia started adorning her little brother who was her only companion in these dark times.

The brother and sister escaped death after all and it was a horrible time in the church. After finished Retribution in the previous post, we set foot in the new chapter called The Apprentice. I didn't know what would happen next till I continued playing and it was not so good.

We were still looking for Laurentius.

A Plague Tale Innocence: The Apprentice

The first thing the kid was asking his elder sister if they would be able to return to home ever and Amicia had to reply in the negative saying its dangerous. And the kid was scared that the rats would find them when its dark but Amicia had hope that they'll be safe with Laurentius.

After noticing part of a windmill which could be Laurentius's farm which was a lot far from us, we found a wrecked carriage and we found a half body of a guard of Nicholas there.

We kept moving and suddenly we noticed some guards were there guarding the area blocking the path and they were talking about the rats. It looks like, everybody was scared of the tiny animals.

There were two of them there and that guard had a helmet on his head so I can't take him down so I just tried to distract him and make our way forward which I did easily.

Then this guard was without a helmet and he blocked our path in a way that I had nothing to do but fighting him. And by fighting means, I used my slinger and I hit his head with a rock and he was gone.

There as a bridge that could take us towards the windmill easily but the guards blocked the path with barricades and they were guarding that part as well so we had to look for an alternative way.

Then we reached this place where only one guard was guarding around or I'd say working around while guarding and I had to send Hugo alone to go to a room through a hole and open the window for me which was risky for the kid but it was the only way.

After several tries, I was succeeded in sending Hugo there and I jumped inside the hut when Hugo opened the window for me but it was harder after that as there were couple guards guarding around there and we got caught for some times as well.

And then we reached this bridge where the guards had a big horse carriages with couple horses and they just blocked the bridge with the carriage and I had to go around through a sawmill there.

There were some guards guarding around the place as well inside the sawmill and after taking down one who didn't have a helmet one, we distracted another one with helmet and there we found a work table where I upgraded my ammunition bag and something else.

We ran following the river shore and we reached a garden when Hugo let go of my hand and started running through the gardens to play around.

Amicia was getting scared of Hugo being lost and the kid then returned and asked if he scared her. After walking forward a little, we found more guards and I was thinking, Hugo would get captured if he'd run there.

I was looking around a chicken farm there where some chickens were alive and well, I don't know how. Maybe rats doesn't like chicken or something like that. Then I came out and found a guard wearing a helmet was close to us so we had to wait for him to go around.
