Found the Apprentice but lost the Master.

The little kid was holding his sisters hand but Amicia shouted and asked him to leave her alone which spooked the kid and he stopped being around Amicia now as the little heart almost broke.

You'll see screenshots about what happened after we met Laurentius, then why and how we had to escape from this place as well taking another kid along with us.

After coming out of the room where Laurentius was resting, we noticed the whole place was not filled with those zombie rats and I had to use my sling to lure the rats by releasing some sacks on the ground and we made our way outside.

After coming outside, Hugo was still angry on me and was not talking to me and following Lucas, we reached the horse stable which was filled of the rats as well but we had to go to the other side of the stable to go to the basement to craft some important things.

We lured the living pig towards the stable by baiting him with a sack of food and then Lucas closed the door from outside when the Pig was eating inside under a light.

Then we used this alternative way to get t the higher surface of the horse stable where we had to use a wooden ladder.

After going in, we noticed the rats were trying to get to the pig but there was a light close to the pig so it was still breathing. I had to destroy the light using my sling so the rats gets to the pig and we get our way towards the door of the basement.

After reaching the basement, Lucas suggested me to get some Alcohol and Sulfur so he can show me something. I was looking for the things and it looked like this place was more than a doctors lab and Lucas said Laurentius was a great Alchemist as well.

After finding the alcohol and sulfur, Lucas taught me a way to craft Ignifer that let me light embers onto which it is thrown and I tried the first one there when the rats broke through the basement.

Then after coming out of the basement, we noticed the way we got in, was taken by the rats so I had to use another Ignifer to light up another sack of embers outside and then we came outside safely.

The next thing we witnessed was the big explosion of the house where Laurentius was and we understood that the doctor was no more after that explosion. Probably the rats did something with some chemicals inside that made this explosion.

The horse that I adorned first time after coming here started running pulling the carriage that had flames on it and we started following it and tried to be close by it so the rats can't get to us. Lucas didn't wish to come as the kid was sad for his master but Amicia convinced him to go with them.

We were out of lights suddenly but I noticed that windmill was almost on fire and I just needed to throw Ignifer on them to make the rats go away and we made our way through that.

And at last, we tried our last run there and we jumped on the boat having a torch on it when the rats tried hard to get to us but we were saved another time.

This scene looked cool when we were sailing the boat on the river and all those rats were just looking at us from the shore and fire of the windmill added a great perspective to this scene as well. The fourth chapter, The Apprentice came to an end with this scene.
