[ESP/ENG]OTOÑO Y LA MITOLOGÍA|AUTUMN AND THE MYTHOLOGY

Hola hivers! Llegó esa época del año en que disfrutamos de lo que la naturaleza puede ofrecernos, vemos todos los cambios en ella donde nos regala paisajes hermosos pintados de naranjas y amarillos, es un momento del año que me gustaría vivir algún día, aunque para muchos representa tristeza o ya están aburridos de verlo, para mi es mágico así que mis amigos que están en otros países suelen mandarme fotografías de paisajes que me gusta compartir, yo vivo en Venezuela y no tenemos estaciones del año, si se ven cambios en las montañas y en clima pero no como en otros paises.

Sabias que hay una historia mitológica que explica porqué existen las estaciones del año?.

Cuenta la leyenda que existía una Diosa llamada Deméter ella era la Diosa de la primavera, la naturaleza y la agricultura, ella y Zeus tuvieron a una hija llamada Kore la cual era tan protegida por sus padres que siempre estaba custodiada por criaturas mitológicas para que no le pasara nada.

Hades su tío estaba cansado de estar solo en el inframundo y miraba desde abajo ñas posibles candidatas para casarse, así que vio a kore y se enamoró de ella, desde allí ideó un plan para poder raptarla.

Un día kore iba caminando por el bosque cuando de la profundidad de la tierra salió la mano de Hades y la tomó, en ese momento todas las criaturas empezaron a gritar preocupadas porqué no sabían a donde se había ido kore, inmediatamente sus padres Zeus y Deméter comenzaron a buscarla en los cielos y en la tierra pero no daban con su paradero.

Deméter se puso tan triste que las hojas de los árboles comenzaron a morir, los cultivos no daban frutos y todo se moría poco a poco, la gente estaba muy preocupada porque no tenían que comer, así que Zeus hizo una reunión con todos los Dioses y les preguntó si habían visto a kore y uno de ellos le respondió: es que no sabes que tu hermano Hades la ha tomado?.

Mientras tanto en el inframundo Hades y kore se habían casado dándole un nuevo nombre (Perséfone) Reina del inframundo.

Inmediatamente Zeus se comunicó con Hades y le dijo que le devolviera a su hija, a lo que Hades responde que Persefone era muy feliz en el inframundo y que ya no podía sacarla de allí.

Cada día que pasaba era más frío y muerto, Deméter le pedía a Hades que le devolviera a su hija, hasta que llegaron a un acuerdo donde persefone podía salir por solo 6 meses y luego tendría que volver.

Deméter se puso tan feliz que todo se volvió primavera, las flores volvieron a salir y los campos se llenaron de comida. Todo era primavera otra vez.

Y esa es la razón de porque existe otoño e invierno, porque es la época en la que Deméter no está con su hija y se siente triste y luego llega la primavera lo que significa que está feliz, 6 meses de primavera y verano 6 6 meses de otoño e invierno.

That time of year has come when we enjoy what nature can offer us, we see all the changes in it where it gives us beautiful landscapes painted orange and yellow, it is a time of year that I would like to live one day, although for many it represents sadness or they are already bored of seeing it, for me it is magical so my friends who are in other countries usually send me photographs of landscapes that I like to share, I live in Venezuela and we do not have seasons of the year, if you see changes in the mountains and in climate but not like in other countries.

Did you know that there is a mythological story that explains why the seasons of the year exist?

Legend has it that there was a Goddess named Demeter, she was the Goddess of spring, nature and agriculture, she and Zeus had a daughter named Kore who was so protected by her parents that she was always guarded by mythological creatures so that she would not nothing will happen to him.

Hades, her uncle, was tired of being alone in the underworld and looked from below at possible candidates to marry, so he saw Kore and fell in love with her, from there he devised a plan to kidnap her.

One day Kore was walking through the forest when the hand of Hades came out of the depths of the earth and took it, at that moment all the creatures began to scream worried because they did not know where Kore had gone, immediately their parents Zeus and Demeter They began to search for her in the heavens and on earth but they could not find her whereabouts.

Demeter was so sad that the leaves of the trees began to die, the crops did not bear fruit and everything was dying little by little, the people were very worried because they did not have anything to eat, so Zeus made a meeting with all the Gods and He asked them if they had seen kore and one of them replied: don't you know that your brother Hades has taken it?

Meanwhile in the underworld Hades and Kore had married giving her a new name (Persephone) Queen of the underworld.

Zeus immediately contacted Hades and told him to return her daughter to him, to which Hades replies that Persephone was very happy in the underworld and that he could no longer get her out of there.

Every day that passed was colder and more dead, Demeter asked Hades to return her daughter to her, until they reached an agreement where Persephone could leave for only 6 months and then she would have to return.

Demeter was so happy that everything turned into spring, the flowers came out again and the fields were filled with food. Everything was spring again.

And that is the reason why there is autumn and winter, because it is the time when Demeter is not with her daughter and she feels sad and then spring comes which means she is happy, 6 months of spring and summer 6 months of autumn and winter.
