Estimulación y crecimiento (Esp/Ing)

El Centro de Desarrollo Infantil es un excelente lugar que contribuye con el progreso de los niños, atiende a pequeños con diferentes condiciones. Realmente es extraordinario contar con este sitio en nuestra ciudad, es de mucha ayuda para los padres, sobre todo, los primerizos que necesitan orientaciones precisas. A nosotros nos ha servido de mucho, este mes ya hemos tenido tres citas. Por ello, compartimos nuestra experiencia y reflexiones con ustedes.

The Child Development Center is an excellent place that contributes to the progress of children, it serves children with different conditions. It is really extraordinary to have this place in our city, it is very helpful for parents, especially for new parents who need precise guidance. It has helped us a lot, this month we have already had three appointments. Therefore, we share our experience and reflections with you.

Desarrollo cognitivo, social y emocional

Impulsar el desarrollo cognitivo, social y emocional de Alma ha estado dentro de nuestras prioridades desde sus dos meses de edad, ahora tiene seis y su comportamiento ha cambiado. Ya ha empezado a definir su personalidad, tiene un carácter fuerte y se ríe con pocas personas, lo cual indica que no todas las morisquetas le parecen graciosas. También se lleva los objetos a la boca y los dedos de sus manos y pies para explorar el entorno.

Cognitive, social and emotional development

Fostering Alma's cognitive, social and emotional development has been one of our priorities since she was two months old, she is now six months old and her behavior has changed. She has already begun to define her personality, has a strong character and laughs with few people, which indicates that she doesn't find all the funny faces funny. He also puts objects in his mouth and puts his fingers and toes in his mouth to explore the environment.

Estadio evolutivo

En cada edad se espera que el bebé tenga ciertas destrezas. De hecho, si hacemos una investigación rápida en la web aparecerán listas más o menos parecidas de una página a otra. Sin embargo, debemos tomar en consideración que cada niño es único, por ende, tiene su propio ritmo y va acorde a su proceso de adaptación y crecimiento. Así que se deben vivir las etapas sin apuros y con mucha paciencia.

Developmental stage

However, we must take into consideration that each child is unique, therefore, has its own rhythm and goes according to its process of adaptation and growth. So we must live the stages without haste and with a lot of patience.

Atención complementaria

La bebé es atendida por un fisiatra y una docente, quiénes están encargados de detectar cualquier indicador de retraso en su desarrollo o, en su defecto, verificar que el crecimiento vaya acorde con la edad. Cada semana suman nuevos ejercicios con diferentes juguetes y elementos. Incluso, la han sentado en una bañera con granos de arvejas para que experimente otro tipo de sensaciones y texturas.

Complementary care

The baby is cared for by a physiatrist and a teacher, who are in charge of detecting any indicator of delay in her development or, failing that, verifying that her growth is in accordance with her age. Each week they add new exercises with different toys and elements. She has even been seated in a bathtub with pea grains so that she can experience different sensations and textures.

Metodología lúdica

Los niños aprenden jugando, así que el CDI aplica esta misma estrategia para la estimulación temprana. Alma ha respondido muy bien a las actividades que le han realizado, aunque, a veces está irritable. Los profesionales que la han atendido están comprometidos con sus avances y eso se agradece. Considero que estamos en la sintonía correcta, el esfuerzo conjunto ha dado resultados favorables.

Playful methodology

Children learn by playing, so the CDI applies this same strategy for early stimulation. Alma has responded very well to the activities she has been given, although she is sometimes irritable. The professionals who have cared for her are committed to her progress and that is appreciated. I believe we are on the right track; the joint effort has yielded favorable results.
