Walking with my mother along the Villa Panamericana

Hello friends. I hope you are all well and have had an excellent weekend. As for me, I would like to tell you that on Saturday I went for a walk with my mother in the meadow of the Villa Panamericana, in the municipality of La Habana del Este.

The Villa Panamericana is a residential area of the Cuban capital that was created on the occasion of the 1991 Pan American Games held in Havana. For this reason, the Cuban government established in this site numerous infrastructures to house the thousands of participants of this regional event.

The place is very welcoming, since it has several middle-class hotel facilities, numerous sporting goods stores and other products, as well as a very popular meadow that descends to the plain near the sea on the north coast, and through which many people pass daily.

And so friends, on Saturday I took a walk with my mother through this place, and after having walked and entered some stores, I invited her to eat a chocolate ice cream that we enjoyed sitting in the meadow in all tranquility. Undoubtedly a simple but pleasant weekend experience with the most important person in my life: my mother.
