Know Your Partner Before Discussing Your Finances With Him ~ LOH Contest #145.

A lot of us need to learn what we should discuss with our spouses and the things we should not discuss with our spouses. In a relationship, it is vwry good to be an open book. It is exoected of you to be open to your partner and tell him the things he should know but do you think it is good to tell your partner everything? I feel there are so many things you should keep to yourself instead of telling your spouse. Things may not go well or right between you two after a while and telling these informations to your partner may make you feel insecure later on.

I have been asked this question a lot of times and I am lucky that this happens to be the topic we will talk about on Ladies of Hive contest. As women and strong women to be precise, we work and make money. I think a lot of people especially women feel so insecure when talking about their finances or how much money they earn with their men. Well, saying this is right or wrong is not the best way to tackle this issue. Discussing your finances with your man may not be a bad idea. It may even be the best for you especially when you have a partner who tends to support you in your finances. Imagine when your man realizes how much money you earn and decides to give you more money to support your financial lifestyle.

Discussing your finances with the kind of person will not be a bad idea but it depends on your partner. Some men will even choose to collect money from their women instead of supporting them with more money. So, I would not say telling your partner about your finances is bad or good but make sure that you know your partner.
