We are a chest full of emotions. Be aware and accept what's inside
We are a chest full of emotions. Emotions that lift us and emotions that lower us. Emotions that bring us lightness and joy, and emotions that bring us weight and pain. And it's the emotions of pain that we choose to ignore, as it's easier to say "I moved on" than to actually deal with the wound until it heals.
Today, I wanted to remind you of your pain. The pain you are experiencing Now. Whether this is ancient or recent, time is absolutely relative. If you haven't released it, it still vibrates through you, it still influences you, it still weighs as if it happened now.
I want to remind you of your pain but not for you to suffer. So that you have the opportunity to cure it. A part of you lives in the Shadow, in the absence of light and healing, because you haven't yet had the courage to look at it and give it your hand.
I understand. I really understand. It's not easy to deal with what makes us feel groundless. But if you're brave enough to be there, "move on" and carry the pain under the rug stumbling over and over again, believe me, there is also courage within you to remove the rug from above and embrace that side of you. Show him that he is seen and loved, show him that he is part of your story, without shame.
I really want to invite you to ACCEPT and WELCOME your emotions. Don't feel wrong for feeling them, don't entertain the idea that they don't make sense or you can't look at them because "it's going to be worse". Do you know what's worse? Reject and neglect a part of yourself.
Just for Today, allow yourself to feel in your body: What is hurting? What still costs? What do I still want to avoid?
And Welcome. Get comfortable with it. Question your pain, understand why it is there and what it might want to tell you. Understand why you have put that part of yourself in the shadow and commit to letting in Light. Remember what an AMAZING person you are and remember: YOU ARE NOT YOUR PAIN. But your pain is part of you.
I hope it made your day a little better.
