The Ink Well Prompt 103 - Rock Star has the heart of an angel

Yanto is a 17-year-old teenager. Since childhood, he was infatuated with rock music so he aspired to become a rock star. When Yanto was 10 years old, his father gave him a guitar as a birthday present. Since then, Yanto has always practiced guitar and continues to add to his skills.

When he entered high school, Yanto met friends who had the same hobbies and interests. So they formed a Rock Band. Every weekend, Yanto and his friends rent a music studio to practice the band and compose songs. They are very talented at playing musical instruments, so they often win school-level band competitions.

Once, when Yanto had just come home from school, he saw a five-year-old child cycling without his parents. Suddenly a high-speed motorbike rushed toward the boy. Swiftly, Yanto ran and pulled the boy. The five-year-old boy was in shock and crying. Then Yanto drove him home.

Arriving at home, Yanto's mother scolded him in a loud tone for coming home late.

"Why did you come home at this time? Where have you been playing from?" shouted Yanto's mother.

"I'm not playing mom! I just brought the boy home!" Yanto replied.

"You don't lie to find excuses! Now hurry up and change your clothes and take this cake to the market!"

Every time he comes home from school, Yanto has to help his mother sell cakes at the market until evening. Because by selling cakes, Yanto can pay school fees and buy books. Yanto is indeed a child who is devoted to his parents.

While looking after his wares, suddenly Yanto's cell phone rang. It turned out that the caller was Kriss, a vocalist in his band.

"Yanto, where are you?"

"I'm selling cakes at the market. What's wrong?"

"There is good news. I and my friends are going to the market to discuss this"

"Okay, I'll wait here"

After 20 minutes, Kriss and his friends arrived at the market. However, Yanto was not there. They waited long enough, and finally, Yanto arrived at his cake stall. It turned out that Yanto had just helped a pregnant woman carry groceries to the car.

Seeing the happy expressions on the faces of his friends, Yanto became confused. They gave the good news that their band was selected to take part in the talent search selection. And later, their band will play on the Woodstock stage with famous rock bands. Yanto was also happy to hear this good news. Yanto is excited because he is sure that he will pass the selection and become a rock star his dream since he was little.

A week later, the long-awaited day arrived. August 12th, they will follow the selection of bands to appear on the Woodstock stage. About 20 bands will show their great talent in front of the judges. The five selected bands will be releasing albums from major music labels and playing the Woodstock stage.

On this most important day, Yanto rode his bicycle with great enthusiasm toward the selection building. But, while on the go. Suddenly there was a loud banging sound. "BUMP!". Yanto was surprised to see a luxury car that hit a power pole so hard it dented it. Yanto immediately approached the car.

At that time there was no one else there. Seeing that someone in the car was still alive and asking for help, Yanto took the victim out of the car and took him to the hospital by taxi. Yanto's cell phone rang. It's Kris.

"Yanto, where are you? It's our turn soon. Why haven't you come yet?"

"Wait a minute, I'm on my way to the hospital, I have things to take care of first!"

"Hurry up! today is our chance to become rock stars!"

Arriving at the hospital, Yanto and the nurse took the accident victim to the ER. Luckily, the victim of the accident was still conscious and told Yanto to get the cell phone that was in his trouser pocket. Asks to call his son. Yanto immediately did it.

In about 20 minutes, the child of the accident victim came and took care of all the administration at the hospital. He was also very grateful to Yanto for saving his father. Because this problem was over, Yanto immediately returned to the place where he left his bicycle at a bookstall. Yanto is in a hurry on this special day.

Arriving at the talent search building, Kriss and the others were angry because Yanto was late in arriving. The band selection event was over and they no longer had the chance to land a stage as big as Woodstock. Yanto apologized to his friends. Bowed low, Yanto and his band will return home.

When leaving the building, the child of the accident victim came and met Yanto again. "Hey, it turns out you're here, what are you doing?"

"Hey sir, we were supposed to take part in the band selection, but it was canceled because of the incident earlier"

"Oh, it doesn't matter. You guys will still follow the band selection here. Come on, come with me upstairs"

Everyone was amazed and curious about the children of the accident victims who were helped by Yanto. It turned out that he was Max Yasgur, the organizer of the Woodstock music festival and the selection of bands in this building. They couldn't believe what happened today. Finally, they also performed their talents in front of Max Yasgur and the judges. They become the best band and will be promoted as a famous rock band.
