Thats a lovely walk with some (morel) dreams coming true 🤩 Its always a pleasure to walk with you and watch your finds, you know. (I also very happy every time when I stumble upon Peziza sp. fungi, same as I see in your photo -- they are a fun find for a macro photographer).

@qwerrie my dear friend :) . It's such a pleasure to get your comments as always. Been thinking of doing a more detailed post about Trametes and we did have some exchange on it prior to this post already. Peziza sp., yes. They grow during the same time as well. I used to think they are exploded morels when I started. As Ascomycota, they are very interesting. I tried them once, but I didn't really like them as much as morels. I just checked out @ua-ethnology and his blog. Thanks for the lead. Indeed very artistic. :)
