Welcome to another splinter-week battle challenge with the theme card 🔪VENARI KNIFER🔪 of the Earth Element. Regardless of the mana cap necessary for battle, this monster 🔪VENARI KNIFER🔪 is one of the most thrilling cards I adore using, and I'll explain why shortly. My progress in Splinterlands has turned into a roller coaster since the introduction of the new system. Back and forth, the struggle to maintain a gold league is real😆.

The 🔪VENARI KNIFER🔪 is one of the Splinterlands' most lethal rogue assassins. It comes from the earth element and is a common card that costs 6 mana to use in battle. It is a melee attack card, and I believe it pairs well with just about any earth splinter as we shall be seeing in this battle.

I am using a level 5 and this monster has a 3-melee attack, 5-speed, 0-shield and 8-health. Truth is, This Monster when compared to other monster cards, is a decent card worth having on deck. The best part is it's THORN & BACKFIRE Ability. The 🔪VENARI KNIFER🔪 has awesome tank and can cause great damage once engaged in a favourable position.

As we can see from Stats, the Regular foil 🔪VENARI KNIFER🔪 has 4-speed, 21-Melee attack, 0-ranged attack, 0-poison, 0-shield, 7-health, and Thorns abilities at the start. Level 2, it only gains an extra speed point. At level 6, it improves it's melee attack to 3 and Health to 8 then gains the Backfire ability. However, at maximum level 10, it becomes pretty decent and has 6-speed point, 4-melee attacks and 7-health.

It becomes extremely powerful when it's 6-mana cost is considered. At this Levels, 🔪VENARI KNIFER🔪 attacks can be increased further with summoners like Wizard of Eastwood, imagine how much damage 🔪VENARI KNIFER🔪 can inflict on enemy after being stripped of their shield.

For the Market price chart 👉 🔪VENARI KNIFER🔪 (REGUALAR FOIL AND GOLD FOIL)

You'll see that the Gold foil has been in high demand for players in higher league, with the least price at 0.8$ and all time high at 2.0$. While for the Regular foil, this is considerably cheap to buy now with least price at 0.05$ and all time high at 0.18$. You can buy or rent this card easily in-game SPLINTERLANDS or PEAKMONSTERS. Buying the gold foil now at this prize will be the wise thing for me to do as I am approaching Gold league, never know how the market turns out.

To thoroughly make good use of the 🔪VENARI KNIFER🔪, just level up your cards to max and also get you a gold foil😆, then battle your way up to experience it's full strength. A monster with good tank and perfect distraction for you to take full control of the battle⚔️.

This was a high mana cap battle with range attack monsters not allowed. I used the Rare WIZARD OF EASTWOOD as my summoner who takes away +2 of my enemies armor at start of battle.
😬Another Interesting thing is the trample ability could be triggered multiple times in battle if the monster is killed. The odds against us both. Let's see who survives!!!

STRATEGY:

To be honest, he is not a summoner I use often because I was yet to fully understand it's Lore. But now that i got little hang of it, I thought to not show up weak, so I summoned IMO the most helpful summoner of the Earth element, the great WIZARD OF EASTWOOD. 🔪VENARI KNIFER🔪 a melee attack monster will peer perfectly with theme card as he takes off -2 of the enemy's armor, leaving them exposed to 🔪VENARI KNIFER's🔪 attack. I rented this level 4 card and It's worth it. Let's attack!!!.

STRATEGY:

In front line comes the OAKEN BEHEMOTH, a whooping 12-cost unit employed solely for his awesauceness, positioned to deal with opponent monsters irrespective of their abilities and attack type. This card is deadly, plus can take alot of hits, and I employed it for this purpose.

STRATEGY:

Then comes the theme card, powerful at this level considering it's mana cost 🔪VENARI KNIFER🔪 a level 5 card. Employed solely for maximum damage back at the attacker. This card I love alot and use regularly. It can take a decent number of blows if you're lucky and should the front-line be killed, I expect this monster to step in and win the battle.

STRATEGY:

Next comes REGAL PERYTON up in third position. A regular foil Rare card monster that has the flying ability to invade enemies without flying ability. A decent card for just 5 MANA.

STRATEGY:

In fourth is the deadly QUEEN MYCELIA, a 4 mana cost PROTECT! ability. Her ability works well to protect the 🔪VENARI KNIFER🔪. In battle, her evil role has a variety of effects, she weakens the enemy from the inside out and protects all of her fellow monsters, while removing protection from enemy monsters. I have always been fascinated with this card and happy I employed her here.

STRATEGY:

In fifth is the SPIRIT SHAMAN, a decent mana card with a divine shield ability from level 1, which makes it an excellent choice. I use this card a lot, and it usually performs better than expected.

STRATEGY:

In sixth is the MAGI SPHINX, Because I was intending to use a summoner that would lower enemies' armor, I chose to employ her to assist fellow magic monsters. It's an amazing neutral-element card that performs a magical strike with 3 speed and 4-health. That's why I used it here, and it's been very useful.

As you can see from my lineup, I attempted to provide a balance, focusing more on Tanks and damage. Without further ado, let us now enter the battleground.

⚔️ROUND 1⚔️

• The Enemy came at me with the Fire element, GENERAL SLOAN as Summoner. CHAIN GOLEM in first position, LUMINOUS EAGLE in second, SHIELDBEARER in third, CAVE SLUG in fourth, TIME MAGE in fifth, and SAND WORM in last position. My Enemy came ready with Life but quiet frankly did not employ monsters that utilized the summoners powers. I would've expected more ranged attack monsters but the battle did not allow it. O well, let's see what happened😁

• Round 1 started with WIZARD OF EASTWOODreducing all enemy monsters amour -2 as expected and also QUEEN MYCELIA giving protection +2 to all my monsters. The enemy's monster TIME MAGE strikes with her slow ability too -1 speed.

• TIME MAGE strikes OAKEN BEHEMOTH while REGAL PERYTON and SPIRIT SHAMAN take turns to attack SHIELDBEARER.

• LUMINOUS EAGLE then launches an attack on OAKEN BEHEMOTH. In return, OAKEN BEHEMOTH does a double strike attack on CHAIN GOLEM.

• Round 1 ends with all monsters standing firm on battle ground with QUEEN MYCELI, OAKEN BEHEMOTH and LUMINOUS EAGLE loosing their shields.

⚔️ROUND 2⚔️

• Round 2 begins again with same round of attacks as in first.

• MAGI SPHINX then launches an attack and kills SHIELDBEARER. SANDWORM retaliates and kills MAGI SPHINX.
• QUEEN MYCELI now furious launches a deadly and kills enemy's frontline CHAIN GOLEM.
• Round 2 ends with CAVE SLUG killing OAKEN BEHEMOTH.

⚔️ROUND 3⚔️

• Round 3 begins with theme card 🔪VENARI KNIFER🔪 now stepping in.

• TIME MAGE strikes at 🔪VENARI KNIFER🔪 affecting just health -1. This makes my monsters mad and 🔪VENARI KNIFER🔪, QUEEN MYCELI and SPIRIT SHAMAN take turns in attack and easily kills enemy's front line LUMINOUS EAGLE.
• Round 3 ends with Missed attack from SANDWORM on SPIRIT SHAMAN, and another missed attack from CAVE SLUG on 🔪VENARI KNIFER🔪

⚔️ROUND 4-6⚔️

• In Round 4 🔪VENARI KNIFER🔪 now in full charge with supporting magic monsters, easily kills CAVE SLUG.

• In round 5 SPIRIT SHAMAN attacks and Stuns TIME MAGE, immediately REGAL PERYTON and QUEEN MYCELIA finish up the job by killing TIME MAGE, which results in their freedom from the slow spell imposed on them by her.
• In round 6, a missed attack by SANDWORM on 🔪VENARI KNIFER🔪, quickly SPIRIT SHAMAN attacks and Stuns SANDWORM, then REGAL PERYTON and QUEEN MYCELIA finish up the job by killing SANDWORM

• 🔪VENARI KNIFER🔪 along side SPIRIT SHAMAN, REGAL PERYTON and QUEEN MYCELIA become Heroes of battle. FLAWLESS VICTORY!!!

This was A decent 24 mid mana cap battle which ended in 3 rounds and VICTORY Again!!!. All monsters were poisoned at start of battle, ranged attacks was allowed and every kind of Splinter but Life and Death was allowed in the battle.

DO I LIKE 🔪VENARI KNIFER🔪 AND WHAT I WOULD'VE DONE DIFFERENTLY?

I Think I do like this monster 🔪VENARI KNIFER🔪, because of it's mana cost and interesting ability. When placed in favourable position or backed by supporting monsters such as this these two Battles, it is able to cause great damage.

To be fair, I definitely look forward to experiencing it's max stats or back fire ability at level 6 which can only be triggered i think from Gold I +. It has pretty awesome Melee, Speed and health, that's already a slam dunk. This only demonstrates that if you play the Earth splinter and whatever the mana cap, then this is a card to have on deck.

The battle was exciting to watch and I will keep seeking more ways to own, engage, but more cards and level up the 🔪VENARI KNIFER🔪.

DID MY STRATEGIES WORK?

Yes, my strategy worked very well. It was a good lineup and strategy for this battle⚔️

🔪VENARI KNIFER🔪 as a front defender can be your best bet in battle as seen in second battle, and if you add some monsters with interesting abilities like Protect and Divine shield, then it will be more difficult to target and kill this monster. Next time, when no magic monsters are allowed, I'll utilize this monster more because it can deliver a lot of damage against melee and range monsters.

🔪VENARI KNIFER🔪 is no doubt a decent card, and this battle challenge has surely exposed it's usefulness in battle.
