It's been a fantastic week so far, and I'll try to answer this week's #LOH66 questions because they're intriguing and provide a chilling throwback👻. If you Wish to know more about the contest and how you can participate, simply visit👉 Ladies of Hive Community Contest #66

1️⃣If you had to get a tattoo right now, what tattoo would you choose?

If I ever get a tattoo, it will be something that fully expresses who I am. The tattoo would include three elements;

⭐️A Star I believe I was destined to be one because of my name😆
👑A crown I adore the Royals and how elegantly they carry themselves
♎️A balance I believe in standing up for what is right and just because my sign is Libra

My tattoo would include these three elements. The scales will have a star and crown on them because I believe my lifestyle should be balanced and that one should not outweigh the other. Peace and harmony are two things I yearn for in life. As a result, if I ever feel pushed or off-balance, this tattoo will serve as a constant reminder of what I stand for and believe in. This is the Tattoo (with colours) I would choose to have on my wrist.

2️⃣Do you think you’ve ever encountered a ghost?

I was 14 years old at the time, and I don't recall the exact month, but it was 2005. Unlike the majority of my friends who went to boarding school, my parents decided (against my wishes because I wanted to experience the thrills of boarding school) that it would be best if I went to day school.

It was Late evening, around 7-pmish, my Mum ran out of airtime and asked me to assist her in purchasing from a nearby store. On my way back, it felt Someone/something seemed to be following me. When I came to a halt, it came to a halt as well. I felt it move as soon as I started moving, as if someone/something was on my tail. Fear gripped me, and I remembered what my Sunday school teacher had taught us: when we are afraid, we should turn around and face it, and we will overcome it.
I then decided to turn around and ask, in a shaky but firm voice.

"Who is that and why are you following me?"

I then returned to the thought that I was alone, in the dark, with no torchlight, asking silly questions. My heart began to race, and I began walking quickly. I turned around when I felt a hand on my shoulder. It was a tall, lanky being with no face, just misty like a whirlwind, a tall, lanky whirlwind.

I've never screamed like that before, and I've never run like that before. Thankfully, I was wearing jeans and sandals, or I would have thrown everything away. I was sweaty and shaky when I got home. When my Mum saw me, she asked what was wrong. I then told her about it, and like any typical African Mum, she started yelling "The blood of Jesus" over and over. She ran into their room, grabbed her anointing oil, and bathed me with it (Oh my God! I Love my Mum😂).

So, as soon as my father returned, she told him about it in a dramatic way, as if she had been present. He thought it was a spirit/ghost from their lineage trying to communicate and protect me, so I shouldn't be afraid, but my mother wasn't having it. You can probably guess what happened in church on Sunday? and the rest is now history😂.

This encounter was one of the things that made me start to ask questions and read books about Spirits, Ghost and the supernatural. A chilling book I read in 2019 is REAL GHOST STORIES BY AAMMTON ALIAS, you may find the true stories chilling and interesting too.
