Kuya J Crispy Pata And Bulalo At The SM City Mall

Hello foodies and friends. Yay! December is already here the start of the yuletide season and I can not wait to go outside to see what is in store. We went to a nearby mall yesterday to have dinner with my family and friends.

This photo above is the first thing that I captured as we walked in. See the towering installations, they are so tall reaching the second level of the mall.

They remind me of something similar...They are newer versions of a tree I must say which does not look like a traditional pine tree. The scene looks like a garden filled with giant flowers. I love that there are seats around for people to stop and talk and rest after a tiring walk. A nice place to have a conversation with friends while your eyes feast on the beautiful holiday theme.

We went to local restaurant called Kuya J. This photo shows the delicious pork crispy pata that we ordered. Crunchy skin on the outside and the meat is so tender inside. Very tasty indeed but I consumed in moderation.

We also ordered bulalo which is a soup with beef and some vegetables. Love to have some during a cold weather. This version of Kuya J is a winner for me I love it and I would definitely come back soon.

This is Kuya J restaurant inside the SM City Mall. One of the best options if you are craving for pinoy food like the ones I posted above.

Took a walk after our dinner to look around and buy some stuff for the home. We saw this train freely going around the busy mall. The kids are all grown up now and I miss riding a similar train in the past. I just love train rides like this.

There is a skating rink but it was too small this year unlike the previous years the rink occupies a bigger portion of the activity area of the mall. You can tell the kids are having fun despite the limited space.

There were a few designated areas for photo opps like this one. Well decorated with holiday themes of red and green.

This one caught my attention. The reindeer with a lighted nose and antlers.

This tree is different from the rest of the mall decors. Not the typical red and green but beautiful.
