We Change Our Mind! We Go To Different Restaurant

When I have time and budget, I try to bring my family to eat somewhere different every week. This week I found a small restaurant in the middle of rice field. It looked nice, and had a good review on google map. And it was inexpensive.

Following the map app on my phone, even with detour and "challenges", I managed to get to the restaurant. I followed the route onto paved small road into the rice fields.

"Is this the restaurant?", my wife asked in disbelief as it looked different on photos. Even restaurant name was different, though the google map said it was correct.

A man greeted us and ushered us in. We sat down cross-legged in one of the table spot. We looked at the menu the waitress gave us to find out there are more alcoholic drink than food available. My wife was not very happy.

I called the waitress and apologized to her that we decide to leave. There were only two choices of food but about 15 drinks, so there were not so many to choose from for our children. That's my excuse. Well, sort of.

A few minutes later we were already in front of a different restaurant which located nearby. We've been to this restaurant and the kids like it.

It was already dark when we arrived but there were colorful lights every in the restaurant. Even at the gate.

When I walked across the gate, I saw a small open building where tables and chairs for guests were placed. There was also cashier table there.

Besides this building, the guests can also choose to sit down on the lawn where small tables were located. If you walked pass the lawn, you will arrive into a black sand beach. There were also some tables with cushion chairs near the beach. We chose to sit there for our meal.

It was quite a spacious restaurant by the beach. As I walked across the restaurant lawn I wonder why there was no single guest. This scene reminded me of the game "Silent Hill."

The restaurant waitress was very friendly and brought us to a table closest to the beach. We sat down and looked at the menu. It seemed we all wanted some thing quick and easy and hmm cheap. And so we chose rice with fried chicken. Avocado juice and milk shake for the children, and tea for me and my wife.

Well, I was glad we changed to this restaurant. This was more beautiful and friendly place.
