Quiero compartir con ustedes parte de lo que fue mi dia de hoy, como ya algunos saben, tengo un hijo de casi 3 años y desde su tercer mes de vida, me fui dando cuenta de que algo no estaba bien en sus piernitas y que es de pies planos. A medida que se fue desarrollando, me percaté de que mi hijo Harold se caía con mucha facilidad, siempre ha tenido las piernas un poco diferentes porque se le unen las dos rodillas, asi que por tal razón desde hace tiempo le he comentado a mi familia que seguramente mi hijo tendría que utilizar unas botas ortopédicas.
I want to share with you part of what my day was like today, as some of you already know, I have a son who is almost 3 years old and since his third month of life, I began to realize that something was not right with his legs and that it is flat-footed. As he developed, I noticed that my son Harold fell very easily, his legs have always been a little different because both knees meet, so for this reason I have told my family for a long time that surely my son would have to wear orthopedic boots.
Harold, al iniciar sus estudios en el maternal, un día al retirarlo en su hora de salida su maestra me llamó aparte y me dijo con preocupación de que el niño la mantuvo muy nerviosa ese dia por lo que al correr no lo notaba con un buen equilibrio, por supuesto le agradecí que me hiciera esa observación y le dije que lo llevaría al médico traumatólogo para que le realizara los estudios pertinentes.
Harold, when he began his studies in the kindergarten, one day when he picked him up at his dismissal time, his teacher called me aside and told me with concern that the boy kept her very nervous that day, so when she ran she did not notice him with a good balance, of course I thanked him for making that observation and told him that I would take him to the traumatology doctor to carry out the pertinent studies.
No pasó mucho tiempo cuando me puse de acuerdo con el papá del niño y justo hoy tuvo su consulta. La Doctora nos dijo que en efecto, une sus rodillas y él mismo se tumba y se cae al momento del roce, también le mandó unos dos ejercicios para la planta del pie para sacarle puente. Me indicó que el primer ejercicio que debe hacer es caminar de puntillas, tres veces diariamente, y hacer lo mismo pero con el talón, el segundo ejercicio es sumergirle sus pies en el agua, conseguir unas piedras o metras, y hacer que lo saque y regrese nuevamente al agua pero con sus dedos de los pies.

He told me that the first exercise to do is to walk on tiptoes three times a day, and do the same but with the heel, the second exercise is to submerge his feet in the water, get some stones or meters, and have him take it out and return to the water again but with your toes.
Luego de explicarme la rutina de esos dos ejercicios para sacarle puente, me entregó el informe médico junto con la órden para mandarle a hacer sus boticas. Muy importante, nos dijo que al momento de tener las botas teniamos que pasar nuevamente a su consulta para evaluarlo y revisar que todo esté bien, eso me pareció excelente. Ya al momento después de que el niño comience a usarlas, la doctora nos dijo que teniamos que regresar dentro de 6 meses, imagino para ver el avance.
After explaining to me the routine of those two exercises to remove the bridge, he gave me the medical report along with the order to send him to make his pharmacies. Very important, he told us that when we got the boots we had to go back to his office to evaluate it and check that everything is fine, that seemed excellent to me. Right after the child started using them, the doctor told us that we had to return in 6 months, I imagine to see the progress.
Al salir, el papá del niño se fue a averiguar de una vez y buscar información mas el costo de las botas, yo me fui con mi bebé a visitar a mi Papá en su trabajo y para mi sorpresa estaba mi madre hermosa junto a mi hermana y sobrina. No imaginé que tendría un almuerzo con mi familia a que no fue planificado. Mi Papá nos consintió con un rico pescado frito, tostones y ensalada. Hasta me pude imaginar en la playa jajajaja, les cuento que éste Domingo vamos!! Pronto compartiré mi experiencia playera.
When leaving, the boy's father went to find out at once and look for more information about the cost of the boots, I went with my baby to visit my father at work and to my surprise my beautiful mother was with my sister and niece. I did not imagine that I would have a lunch with my family that was not planned. My dad spoiled us with a delicious fried fish, plantains and salad. I could even imagine myself on the beach hahahaha, I tell you that this Sunday we are going!! Soon I will share my beach experience.
