Proof of Blind Referral Contest || Win 350 POB &/or 75 HIVE

Proof of Blind is hosting a referral contest. Whenever an original-content creator makes a submission to the Proof of Blind project, the first question we ask is who referred them.

We will be tracking author rewards by referrer over the next couple weeks, then giving two prizes to the top two referrers.

This will be a great opportunity for Referrers, Authors, and Curators to contribute to a better Hive content creation and curation system.

[EDITED]: The contest will include any submissions received up until 11:59 pm November  7  15, 2021 (UTC time) and will conclude whenever the final submission received prior to that deadline has received its final payout.

Prizes for the Two Top Referrers = 75 HIVE and 350 POB (two separate winners, two separate prizes)

There are essentially two contests, each with its own prize: (1) for the referrer with the most cumulative referred POB author rewards, and (2) the referrer with the most referred HIVE/HP/HBD author rewards. Each prize depends upon the total POB or HIVE/HP/HBD earned from all the authors referred by that person from all their respective Proof of Blind posts.

The referrer whose referred authors earn the most HIVE/HP/HBD will receive 350 POB as the prize.

The referrer whose referred authors earn the most POB will receive 75 HIVE as the prize.

The prizes will be distributed the same day the results are announced (on or around November 17, 2021).

In order to be eligible as a referrer for the contest please make a post with

1. your own commentary about the Proof of Blind project, along with
2. a link to the Proof of Blind submission portal, and
3. please use the tag #blindreferral on your referral post (so we can easily find it).

We will be upvoting and promoting referral posts, but link-only posts will only receive a minimal upvote. Below is the link you should include in your referral announcement post (this is the link authors need to click in order to submit their original content to the Proof of Blind project):

NOTE: @mineopoly and @funshee have a head-start, as they have both already referred authors to Proof of Blind (3 and 1, respectively). Yes, submissions made prior to this announcement count. But don’t worry, there is plenty of time to catch them and pass them up!

Rewards for Authors

While the Proof of Blind project does not provide any direct reward to Authors participating in this contest, there are multiple ways authors benefit from submitting their content to Proof of Blind:

1. Unless you already have numerous followers, your original content posted through Proof of Blind will likely get more views, attention, and rewards than via your personal page.
2. Authors providing high-quality content via Proof of Blind will be highlighted in our @blind.stats leaderboard, making them more easily noticed by curators, thus allowing them to build followers and strong reputations more quickly.

The Proof of Blind project and its procedures bring major benefits for curators:

1. On Proof of Blind, you can find very different types of content and see diverse worldviews, all presented under one profile.

2. You don't have to worry about the originality of content on Proof of Blind, because we check for plagiarism before the content is posted.

3. You play an active role in contributing to healthy original-content creation and publication, in which new content creators are always welcomed and an author’s success is dependent upon the quality of their content, independent of the author’s starting point. The better folks feel about the Hive environment and ecosystem, the more high-quality content will be available to curate, enjoy, and learn from.
