(ENG/SPA) Udo Jine The Eyes of a God Villain Review

udo jine.jpg

What would stories be without villains, I think they would be empty souls destined to die before being born, that's why I like to give color to my Vlog and Reviews by adding colors like darkness and cruelty that tinge my thoughts with a murky appeal by focusing carefully on villains to give my opinion about them and invite you to see their stories and get to know them.

Udo Jine is a villain in the full glare of anime associated with Rurouni Kenshin, many have other villains as favorites but in my case this was one of the first villains I solidly saw in anime, one that impressed me with his abilities and cruelty, What a happy childhood I had that allowed me to sit many hours in front of the TV to watch stories in movies, series or anime, in those times I did not know the background of those products I saw, I only knew that I liked to watch the battles and this character gave a whole show, one that I recommend to see for those who still do not know him.

That is why I recommend the new generations to get to know this powerful character of which I do not perceive nuances in his actions, he is direct, frontal, it is as if he were in a straight line, something necessary because I consider him the letter of introduction for the viewers to enjoy the conflict in the anime where he appears called Rurouni Kenshin. I am happy with what is happening nowadays by taking distant stories to re-produce them and transmit them because that allows the stories to live on, those that I saw as a child more than two decades ago, it is a necessary cycle.

In the gif you can see a hint of the bestial dynamics of the character against the protagonist of Rurouni Kenshin, what a jewel is that anime of yesteryear, this review is a tribute to the villain who stands out not only for his skills with the katana, I think it reaches more viewers is for his cruelty and style of battle in eyes.

For modern times perhaps many are already accustomed to these visual techniques, just say the name of the anime Naruto where excess of things are placed to the eyes of various characters in that anime which never ceased to be a good formula for its narrative in image, I do not know what the eyes have but at the level of battles is an attractive pillar to forge a solid audience that is captivated with a story, in my case the first character I saw used this as a battle skill was Jine.

Just look at that face of Udo Jine in the image, he is a demon, he is darkness, it seems that I see the abyss of madness in a being that only satisfies himself in battles by hurting whatever crosses his path. In many aspects I would like to be like him, I am extremely patient for things and although it is a good habit, many times it is necessary to be direct to achieve my life goals, this character reminds me that I must be lethal and selfish when opportunities arise to improve my quality of life .... and why not haha enjoy it in the process.

Just look at the aesthetics he uses which is very peculiar, a storytelling to make me understand, I remember as a kid playing Mortal Kombat 3, it was the heyday of that game and Raiden wore a hat very similar to the one used by Jine, I did not understand the why of things, now I know it's because of the Japanese culture, that visual is inspired by those legendary swordsmen of past centuries.

Now something that is much more powerful than the above is the villain smile he has, this is vital to convey evil, in fact The Joker one of his virtues is that laugh that marks generations, in the case of Jine he combines villainy with insane smile, something distinctive of this character and that differentiates him from other characters in the anime that say they did not smile so much as they were more serious haha, visually is a characteristic of villain of which I like to see in this type of characters for how expressive, exaggerated and cool it looks.

In the anime there are several initial villains but it is with Jine where you first perceive all the potential that this story has offered for decades, now a new audience is getting to know this story but it is with Jine where you first perceive the seriousness in the narrative approach of Rurouni Kenshin that does not lose its cruelty and visual spectacle, a great anime and key presentation character to imprison an entire audience in the vast story they want to tell us.

The villains can leave very solid reflections, I just leave you one which I consider is the most valuable that the character left me, regardless of his cruelty, his way of acting to achieve things can be extrapolated to real life elements such as business, sometimes we are very smart and in the process we become only tools of people with less capacity than us but with greater ability to manipulate, at least in my case is one of the teachings that I perceive the character and that is why you have to be lethal because many times in the business world there is no compassion. ... just look at the world of music and cinema where one day a star shone at the highest peak of the sky and the next day it disappeared. I hope you enjoy this great character and if you have already seen him tell me in comments what was your impression about Udo Jine and his Eyes of Cruelty.

I dedicate each and every one of my posts and videos to my little dog named princess, we called her chiquito, she is no longer with us but from heaven she will see that her existence was valuable and the most beautiful thing that will exist in my heart and soul.

What a way to describe a good villain, frankly I loved this post, Udo Jine wasn't on screen a lot, but he did leave an important mark in Rurouni Kenshin. Everything about him is interesting, his motivations, his desires, without a doubt a true villain and with a fearsome technique, I think he served as inspiration for the visual techniques we later saw in other anime.

Thanks for sharing this interesting post!

is that the villains of Rurouni Kenshin are powerful 😎, it is incredible what this anime achieved giving characters with so much depth in their stories, each one of them has much to reflect and yes, their way of battle in the dynamics of the anime reaches the viewer completely.

Now what you say about the eyes, I think it is a modern precursor of that formula, fortunately it is not drowned in eyes as if it happens in naruto ajaj but that is a good topic of analysis, it is a grain of sand in that structure 😃
