The memory of "Baden Baden" - Photography Showcase
I love taking photos and I have been taking photos for a very long time using my smartphone. I have GoPro but I rarely use it because my smartphone is handy. Besides it is winter now so I figured that I am not very used to the GoPro especially in winter.
Days are pretty busy, I have been busy. I have been doing a lot of work lately related to my profession. I am also a social media influencer and also work in a travel agency. So, I hardly got time for myself last week. Things got pretty rough here, tension increased around as well as the economy is almost broken. I am trying to keep myself calm and positive as much as possible and mostly keeping myself away from being panicked and stressed.
Anyway, what I was saying is I have been thinking to showcase some of the photos which I have taken last year while traveling. I have been to many different locations, got to know many historical and natural parts of Kharkiv Oblast. Unfortunately, I couldn't go to other cities that I have been willing to do for a long time. Hopefully, this year, if things get normal, I will travel again.
Last summer was the best, I would say the best summer I have spent in life. Though we had to deal with Covid situations, regulations were not hard in the countryside. It was more like an excursion, fun, and exploration. I haven't done anything crazy or adventurous, it was more like a soothing travel memory.
I had a plan to write a lot of travel posts which I haven't, why, I don't have answers. All the photos are still on my phone gallery, sometimes I edit them and share them, that's all I have done so far. So today I have decided to edit and highlight some images that I have taken using my phone. My phone does a pretty good job in terms of taking photos. I am not a professional photographer, I just know editing using photoshop lightroom.
These are images I have taken while spending time at Baden Baden. Baden Baden is known for its hotel and restaurant complex, located near the beautiful Lozovenka River. According to my observation, it's more like a destination wedding location than a hotel. People mostly got there to get married or to attend wedding parties and ceremonies. They have a sauna as well and places for other events.
The entire complex is full of gazebos and cottages where you can sit, eat food and enjoy the beauty of the Lozovenka River. Some go for a BBQ party, some go fishing and swimming in the river. I would say it is a beautiful recreational complex located near the city, other cottages are far away from the city.
From my home, it takes only 20 minutes to reach there by taxi. You can take a bus as well, transportation options are open. Food price is pretty expensive there but you can't spend time there without eating or drinking something. So, you have to definitely order something from their kitchen unless you take some snacks and food with you.
The entire complex atmosphere is so serene, calm, and peaceful. While walking you will hear the sound of the birds and feel the cold breeze of the river. Sometimes you will see the hidden gazebos among the trees.
Baden Baden is open for all and anyone can go there anytime. But people mostly prefer to go there afternoon and enjoy the sunset while sitting on Lozovenka Beach. Actually, instead of saying beach, I would say riverbank. The river is very calm, perfect for swimming and boating, so many hire a boat and enjoy the river/boating moment.
Before sunset and after the sunset is the best moment, nobody wants to miss the golden moment. The complex is very large so it's easy to find a calm place near the river.
Just imagine how would you feel sitting in such a cottage and enjoying the view. The mild sunrays are touching your body. You are taking a deep breath and appreciating the moment.
People do parties here as well and also spend quality time with friends and families during the weekend.
For those who want to escape from the chaotic metropolitan life for a moment, this is the location for them.
I was thinking to go there again to experience the winter but the complex is closed now, it will be opened at the beginning of spring. So, I just need to wait for now.
I have used adobe lightroom to elevate the editing level of these images, I wanted to create a unique album for Baden Baden so these photos I have selected for showcase...

Ukraine is beautiful and looking at your photos, I want to explore it more and more! Although I have lived all my life in Ukraine, I have seen very few places here. Once upon a time I was on the outskirts of Kharkov remember there is a beautiful reservoir in a pine forest. Thank you for sharing your wonderful moments, @priyanarc :)
