An unseen world: A lot is happening.

This world is filled with mystery that one cannot explain but to open their mouth in shock hearing or witnessing such an experience. Mostly, the Yoruba tribe are known to witness different kinds of unseen things. I have heard a lot of stories, both real and one being framed about reincarnation where you see ghosts or feel them around, witches that fly at night, broke their wings while flying and dropped down in the middle of the road or villages where they are seen and are stoned to death. I have seen a lot of dwarfs and even those with hunchback where we were told they are mostly used for rituals because the hunchback brings a lot of money.

There was this guy, don't know if he is still alive. I was in secondary school at that time and he was into a rewire job. He was always accompanied by his best friend every night even when it was inconvenient for him, but because of the issue of kidnappers around hunting for people like this guy, his friend was always with him and would follow him home before he left for his own home. There were many times he was kidnapped but escaped. People said God has always been saving him.

I know a lot of people won't believe me but I have seen a ghost before which I have narrated here before. This was in the year 2020 when I travelled home. I can't remember what we went to do but it wasn't during Christmas. A friend came to visit us and while he was leaving, my brother and I decided to see him off and also to use the opportunity to stroll around the village. There is a path along the forest that has a clear road where people pass through to the farm or main road. Also, the same road leads to the village mortuary where dead bodies are buried, both for the Christians and Muslims. I have heard a lot from my brother where he said our late Grandma told him that the dead used to come out every afternoon and would go down the main road to enjoy and return. I thought it was a lie that was made up so we don't go near the mortuary but I witnessed it myself and I couldn't stop breathing with shock in me.

My brother was walking behind me and the gap I left while in the front was wide for him not to quickly signal for me what was in my front. He already saw the man from a little distance, dressed in an all white robe with something like a white substance rubbed on his face while walking barefoot. As he sighted him, my brother ran through the thick bush while I was walking alone. When I looked up, I saw the ghost coming and I couldn't hear the footsteps of my brother again. Then, I realized it was a ghost. I felt this cold in me and was now walking faster so that by the time I got to the junction leading to our house the ghost wouldn't be close to me.

When I got to the junction and managed to turn, my legs couldn't touch the ground again so I took to my heels. When I got home and turned back to see if the ghost was still in sight, I couldn't see him again. I ran inside and narrated what I saw to Grandma, she cleared my doubt that it was indeed a ghost I saw. The shock didn't leave my heart till the next day and I blamed my brother for not calling my attention on time. What if the ghost has done something to me? Well, ghosts do not have power over the living anymore except for those who killed them.

There are a lot of stories I have heard. Let me share this last one before I stop. There is this coursemate of mine in the university, she was a devoted Christian in school fellowship. She came back home on that day and explained a lot of things she heard in the school that day. Her father in the Lord came to visit her and while they were strolling in the school environment that weekend, the man saw things with his spiritual eyes. According to him, God opened his eyes to see a lot of students, some were cows with horns on their heads, and others were monsters who were walking among other students. However, I wasn't surprised because I have heard that not everyone we are living with, talking to, and seeing on the road are normal beings. If only God could open a lot of people's spiritual eyes, we would be wowed that most of them are animals, monsters etc and are walking among other people.

A lot of things are happening and I don't think I would want to doubt anyone who tells me that he or she witnessed something which isn't ordinary because it is what is happening in the world. There are a lot of people who are dead and are found in other places still living among the living people, they are called the reincarnated ones. The only way you can identify them is when they keep giving excuses when you try to ask about them and relatives.
